ANALYSIS: Earlier today, Houston's closer Jose Veras was dealt to the Detroit Tigers. With the closer's role now vacant for the Astros, Jose Cisnero is expected to become the main beneficiary for saves. If the team chooses an alternative option or opts to use a committee, Wesley Wright and Josh Fields are other possible closer candidates. These two players can be used as handcuff options, but speculation still points to "Jose" as the Astros closer. Except this time, Jose's last name will be Cisnero - and not Veras.
