BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues

ANALYSIS: Jonathan Stewart has been the most talented running back in Carolina for several years now, but the presence of DeAngelo Williams and some injuries have mostly kept Stewart from being a viable and reliable RB starter for fantasy football during that time. But if Williams were to get injured at any time, Stewart would automatically be catapulted into the RB2/FLEX discussion as the lead back on that team.
Well here we are on Friday, and DeAngelo Williams is nursing a quad issue and still not practicing. He was added to the injury report on Thursday, which is never a promising sign, although we really can't be sure whether he will play on Sunday. Jonathan Stewart is an intriguing name and on my list of waiver wire sleepers for Week 2, because if DeAngelo can't go Stewart would be the featured running back in the offense. If you are in a deeper league, are struggling at running back, or have a bench spot where you can stash someone - consider grabbing Stewart off the waiver wire if he's still available in your league, just in case he's ready for prime-time action on Sunday.
