BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues / All 2QB Leagues

Owned in 43% of Fleaflicker Leagues

ANALYSIS: Locker is a guy I have liked since he came out of college as the Titans 1st round pick in 2011. His first couple of years he didn't really do anything. He was the only one of the four first round QBs to sit the bench in year one. It was last year when things started to come together and he started the season with 6 touchdowns and 0 interceptions before a hip injury sidelined him and he was unable to play at that level again before another injury took him out for the season

Locker is back this season with perhaps his best offensive head coach and his best group of receivers in his career. He had a strong week one against what was supposed to be a decent Chiefs defense. Locker has a great possession receiver in Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter is the perfect complement at 6'4" and super speedy which makes him an excellent red zone threat. Delanie Walker, Nate Washington and Dexter McCluster all serve as options in the pass game as well. Locker is a must-own in 2QB leagues and I would not be surprised if he establishes himself as a capable NFL quarterback this year. In standard leagues he remains a matchup play but has some favorable matchups in the first half of the season (Indy, Jacksonville and Washington). A major injury could effectively end his run as a starting QB but barring that Jake Locker will have several fantasy relevant games this year.
