Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson is coming off the worst season of his career. Last offseason, he was traded from the Seattle Seahawks to the Denver Broncos for a massive haul, and so far it has been a massive disappointment for the AFC West team.
Wilson was known as the NFL's Ironman, having played 144 consecutive games since his debut. However, the story has changed because he has missed five games in the last two seasons. In 2021, the former Seahawks quarterback suffered a finger fracture and was placed on injured reserve.
Injuries forced the 34-year-old quarterback to miss two games last season as well. Wilson is under tremendous pressure, and in order to prove his doubters wrong, he must first stay healthy.

Is Russell Wilson Injured Or Healthy?
Fortunately for Broncos fans, Russell Wilson is fully healthy and ready to play next season. He has even lost significant weight in the offseason, as he is looking to bring the best out of him.
Sean Payton was hired as the Broncos' new head coach, and many believe he will be able to get the most out of their star quarterback. Payton helped Drew Brees massively in New Orleans, and he has experience coaching older quarterbacks. Wilson isn't the great quarterback he once was, but he can still lead the Broncos to a successful season if the situation around him is right.
Russell Wilson Needs To Improve Next Season
Russell Wilson, without a doubt, needs to improve next season after seeming like a shadow of himself with Nathaniel Hackett as his head coach in 2022. In the 15 games that he played last season, he threw for 3,524 yards with 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
After Hackett was fired by the franchise, Wilson looked quite good. This was definitely a positive sign for all the fantasy managers who are looking to get the Broncos quarterback on their team.
