Is Rachaad White Hurt or Healthy? Fantasy Football Injury Update for Week 6

Rachaad White - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Is Rachaad White hurt or healthy? Is Rachaad White playing in Week 6? Read the latest Rachaad White fantasy football injury updates and outlook.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White (foot) has played all five games of 2024 so far, and he's one of the more disappointing draft picks fantasy managers made so far. He's just the RB32 in full-PPR scoring, a far cry from his RB4 overall finish in 2023.

He has only one game with over 15 PPR fantasy points and three of his games are in the single digits. He's averaged just 3.7 yards per carry on the season and has yet to score a single touchdown. He's also begun losing touches to rookie running back Bucky Irving, who has looked much more elusive and explosive.

In addition, White is now on the injury report. So is Rachaad White hurt or healthy, and will he play in Week 6?

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Rachaad White Injury Update for Fantasy Football

After logging a limited practice on Wednesday and missing practice entirely on Thursday, White was designated as "doubtful", meaning fantasy managers can assume he will not play. Less than 6% of players listed as doubtful end up playing, and it's better to side with statistics when they're this overwhelming.

The injury itself looked pretty serious at the time, so it's not a big surprise that he will miss a game. His recovery timeline is unclear, and fantasy managers should check for updates ahead of Week 7's contests for a clearer picture of that.

Rachaad White Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 6

On the off chance that he does play, he would likely see a severely limited workload and not be startable. Lower leg injuries typically require more caution, though. The running back position requires huge amounts of force to be transferred through the ankles and feet.

If you drafted White, hopefully, you also picked up Irving at some point.
