This week, the Washington Commanders take on the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.

While Philadelphia is favored, Washington has been playing strong football as of late, and they could also welcome back reinforcements like wide receiver Jahan Dotson, the rookie who has been out since Week 4 due to a hamstring injury.

Is Jahan Dotson Playing In Week 10?

Dotson injured his hamstring back in Week 4 and hasn't played since. However, after being a full participant in practice on Friday and Saturday, the rookie has been removed from the injury report. Barring a setback, he will play against the Eagles on Monday night.

Should I Start Jahan Dotson In Week 10 of Fantasy Football?

When Dotson was healthy earlier this season, he was a touchdown machine. Through four games, he caught 12 passes for 152 yards and four touchdowns. With the exception of Week 4 when he left early due to injury, Dotson played at least 88 percent of snaps in every game, including 99 percent of snaps in Week 2. Even in his worst game (Week 3; two catches for 10 yards), he commanded a career-high eight targets, asserting himself as a key weapon in the Washington offense.

Since Dotson last played, the Commanders' offense has seen major improvements, headlined by the success of Taylor Heinicke following an injury to Carson Wentz. While we have never seen Heinicke and Dotson play together in the regular season, one would imagine that the quarterback could upgrade the rookie's game just like he has done with Terry McLaurin and Antonio Gibson.

Not only should Dotson be rostered in 100 percent of dynasty leagues, but he has significant appeal in redraft formats, too. The Penn State product can be added off the waiver wire if you need wide receiver depth or have an open bench spot.

With that said, fantasy managers should avoid starting Dotson this week. Even if he operates as the Commanders' No. 2 wide receiver, he'll be playing against one of the NFL's best secondaries, headlined by Darius Slay and James Bradberry. This might just be the Commanders' toughest matchup of the year, so in his first game back, Dotson should be left on your bench.
