Chris Godwin Fantasy Football Injury Update
Earlier on Sunday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reported that Godwin is set to return to action on Sunday evening when the Buccaneers face the Los Angeles Rams. However, Fowler noted that, given the time Godwin has missed, he is expected to have a somewhat restricted snap count.
With the team having yet to provide any further clarification on how much Godwin is slated to play, fantasy managers should not expect him to quickly return to his full-time role as Baker Mayfield's slot WR.
Bucs WR Chris Godwin is set to play Sunday vs. Rams but the team will be mindful of his workload, per sources. Will likely be on something of a pitch count in his first game back since Oct. 5.

Should I Start Chris Godwin for Week 12 Fantasy Football?
Even though managers will be relieved to see their wideout cleared to return to action, managers should take caution when starting him this evening. Given that he is expected to be on a snap count, due to missing more than a month of action, managers should view him as a risky WR3 in PPR formats.
Earlier this season, Godwin was able to draw a hefty 10 targets in his season and back in Week 4, but saw only four targets in Week 5, before exiting with the fibula injury.
This weekend, the Buccaneers will also be without top running back Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder), potentially opening more targets for Godwin. However, with rookie wideout Emeka Egbuka emerging as a legit WR1 and fellow rookie Tez Johnson having a strong nose for the end zone, Godwin may have a minimal role this evening.
Despite tonight's game potentially being a shootout between two potent offensive units, Godwin is best left for 12+ team PPR leagues as a mid-end WR3/FLEX with risk.
