Is Bijan Robinson, Breece Hall, Or Jahmyr Gibbs The Fantasy Football RB1 In Dynasty Leagues?

Bijan Robinson - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Rookies, Draft Sleepers

Should fantasy football players draft Bijan Robinson, Breece Hall, or Jahmyr Gibbs during their 2024 dynasty drafts? Mike Fanelli examines the case for all three RBs.

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey is the near consensus RB1 in fantasy football redraft leagues this year. However, the superstar recently turned 28, keeping him from being the RB1 in dynasty leagues.

Most fantasy football players believe the RB1 in dynasty leagues is either Bijan Robinson, Breece Hall, or Jahmyr Gibbs. All three players have only four years of NFL experience combined. Yet, they are already elite fantasy football running backs.

However, which running back deserves to be the RB1 in dynasty leagues? Let’s look at each player’s fantasy outlook.

Bijan Robinson Fantasy Football Outlook

Robinson had an outstanding rookie season. He was the RB9, averaging 12.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game despite being in a near 50-50 backfield split with Tyler Allgeier. The former Texas star had 214 rushing attempts for 976 yards and four touchdowns. Thankfully, Robinson should be an elite running back after the Atlanta Falcons fired Arthur Smith.

Breece Hall Fantasy Football Outlook

Hall has been arguably the top running back in the NFL not named McCaffrey since getting drafted in 2022. Unfortunately, injuries and an awful supporting cast have held him back. Yet, he was the RB4, averaging 14.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The superstar ended the year with 223 rushing attempts for 994 yards and five touchdowns. Fantasy players have high expectations for Hall after the Jets improved their offensive line.

Jahmyr Gibbs Fantasy Football Outlook

Gibbs is part of an elite 1-2 running back combo for the Detroit Lions. Despite splitting the backfield work with David Montgomery, the former Alabama star was outstanding as a rookie. He was the RB10, averaging 14.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Gibbs had 182 rushing attempts for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns. The second-year running back should have a larger role in 2024 after his impressive rookie season.

Is Bijan Robinson, Breece Hall, or Jahmyr Gibbs the RB1 in Fantasy Football Dynasty Leagues?

Fantasy players should love the opportunity to draft any of these running backs. While they are the top-3 guys in most dynasty rankings, Robinson has the most upside. He had a slightly disappointing season because of the coaching staff and quarterback situation. However, the former Longhorn is the most dangerous on the ground and in the passing game of the three superstar running backs, making him the RB1 in my dynasty rankings.
