New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is coming off a game against the Chiefs, where he was held to a season-low 26 rushing yards, though he added six receptions for 40 yards.

However, Robinson popped up on the injury report on Wednesday, as he sat out with a hip/hand issue.

Alvin Kamara Injury Update for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara did not practice on Wednesday, but the electrifying player was back on the practice field on Thursday, albeit in a limited fashion.

That certainly makes us hope that the Saints were just being cautious with their star running back. He is dealing with both hip and hand issues, but it doesn't appear at the moment that those things will impact his availability in Week 6 when the Saints take on the Buccaneers.

You should always monitor players who missed practice, but unless some other complication pops up between now and kick-off, fantasy managers should assume that Kamara will be good to go.

 

Alvin Kamara Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 6

The New Orleans Saints will be without quarterback Derek Carr this weekend, so the team is turning to rookie Spencer Rattler to take over the position, opting for Rattler over Jake Haener as the starting quarterback.

This likely means that the Saints will need to rely heavily on the run game, which specifically bodes well for Kamara's fantasy value. Kamara has played over 80% of his team's snaps in three consecutive games.

Kamara has 19 or more combined carries and targets in every game this season. Expect that trend to continue against the Saints. Fantasy managers should view Kamara as a strong fantasy RB1 option for this Week 6 contest between the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Don't let the injury concerns scare you.
