How to Win on FanDuel Football (Recap)

Over the past four weeks, Rotoballer has brought you a ton of high-end strategy for Fanduel fantasy football. We've given you tips and tools to help you set the best lineup possible, and maybe even win a lil cash.  If you've missed these pieces, this article recaps those 4 articles with a quick summary of each one.

Part 1 - General Tips and Strategies

Our first strategy article lays out some general guidelines that will help you get a reasonable lineup together.  In a nutshell, we tell you to avoid injured or questionable players, avoid bottom of the barrel QBs, and play within your budget.  If you haven't played daily Fantasy Football on Fanduel, this is a good place to start.

Part 2  - Picking the Right QB

In our QB article, we compare the two strategies of going with the ace (Manning, Romo, Luck) vs. going with the sleeper (Pryor, Foles, etc.).  In week 7 there's a clear cut choice here with Nick Foles, who looks like an ace but is coming at a sleeper price. With QB, you generally want to get a middle priced option with big upside. This means a solid QB who has a great matchup and solid WR options but also allows you to save your budget for WR and RB.

Part 3 - Choosing a Stud Running Back

Our running back piece talks about the importance of choosing at least one high-end stud running back, and maybe even two if you can afford it! Unless there's some high-quality injury fill-ins (think Brandon Jacobs in week 6), the studs will be the highest scoring options each week. But obviously, it's really hard to predict the success of these fill-ins. If one of your two RBs craps the bed, you're gonna have a tough time winning your matchup or placing in your tournament. Gambling on a Joseph Randle in week 7 is a risky bet when there are so many high-end RBs with juicy matchups.

Part 4 - How to Find Value in Wide Receivers

In our wide receiver article, we discussed how it's key to take a bonafide #1 WR to ensure you get the consistency you'll need.  At the same time, it's extremely important you find the value plays, the cheap guys who could return big results.  This week, Keenan Allen is that guy. At $4,500 he's a steal and he could put up huge numbers. He meets all our criteria - playing with a good QB, in a favorable matchup, great talent, and comes at a cheap price tag.

Now that you've got the basics down, are you ready for the real thing?

This  week, Fanduel is hosting an exclusive partners-only tournament.  It's an inexpensive $5 entry tournament with over $2500 in prizes awarded. And remember, our experts are hanging around in our chatrooms all day to answer any type of lineup questions you might have!
