Gameweek 35 FPL Tips
Target Aston Villa and Brentford's Assets
The title race is over, and there are only four gameweeks left in the season. We'll therefore shift our attention to the teams with the easiest fixtures and those fighting for a spot in Europe next season.
Starting with Aston Villa, the Villans are currently seventh in the Premier League standings, just three points behind fifth-place Chelsea. The race for the Champions League is on, and Aston Villa has its sights on making a return in next season's campaign.
Villa boasts a solid head-to-head record against their next opponents, Fulham, winning six of their last seven matches in the Premier League. A win in their next clash is therefore crucial, as it will significantly improve their chances of finishing in the top five.
#AVFC have won 6 of their last 7 Premier League games against Fulham, with the exception being a 3-0 away defeat in October 2022.

In Gameweek 33, Brentford became the first European team this season to have two different players score 10 or more goals at home. The lethal duo of Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa will be excited to welcome an out-of-form Man United to the Gtech Community Stadium this weekend.
The Red Devils are winless in their last five games, conceding seven goals and keeping one clean sheet. Gameweek 35 is the ideal time to double up on the Bees' attack, as they are likely to wreak havoc against Man United's shaky defense.
To this end, FPL managers are advised to prioritize selecting assets from either Aston Villa or Brentford for Gameweek 35. According to goal projections, Aston Villa and Brentford are expected to produce a 1.85 xG and 2.05 xG (expected goals) against their respective opponents this week.

Gameweek 35 Top Captain Picks
The weekend fixtures present a list of fascinating options for your captaincy choice. Players like Ollie Watkins against Fulham, Alexander Isak against Brighton, and Jarrod Bowen against Tottenham present strong cases. However, our top two captain picks this week are:
Bryan Mbeumo (£8.1m) - Brentford
Mbeumo has had an incredible year so far, scoring 18 goals for the Bees this season. He is now just two goals away from a 20-goal season. An incredible feat for the 25-year-old!
Averaging a 0.32 xG for Brentford and taking on Man United at the Gtech Community Stadium, the Cameroon international is set to perform well this weekend and is our RotoBaller captain of the week.

Mohamed Salah (£13.8m) - Liverpool
With Liverpool now champions, it is expected that a few managers may not rely on the Egyptian king this week.
Salah, on the other hand, insists that he is not done breaking all possible records. With 185 Premier League goals under his belt, the 32-year-old is now among the top five all-time scorers in the Premier League.
With a goal record of eight goals scored in 23 outings against Chelsea, Salah will be eager to score against his former team and is a compelling option for the captain's armband.

Race for Europe FPL Challenge: Brighton v. Newcastle - Players to Target
Week 35 of the FPL Challenge involves selecting a team of five players with an unlimited budget. However, this week's task focuses on selecting players from Brighton and Newcastle who are set to earn double points.
RotoBaller's top picks for this week's challenge are:
- In goal, Everton's Jordan Pickford is our top goalkeeper to bank on for clean sheet points against Ipswich.
- In defense, Josko Gvardiol is a top defender to bank on for attacking returns when Man City hosts Wolves this Friday.
- In midfield, Bryan Mbeumo is our top midfield option this week and takes the spotlight as our captain of the week.
- For the forwards, a duo of Alexander Isak and Ollie Watkins completes the attack, rounding off our lineup in a 1-1-2 formation.
Isak is a perfect fit for this week's task as he is only two points away from hitting the 200-point FPL mark.
Remember, you are free to select any other top FPL Challenge alternatives not mentioned above. Best of luck to everyone participating in this week's challenge!
