Gameweek 31 Rankings - Fantasy Premier League Predictions, Tips, and Picks for 2023-24

FPL Gameweek 31 rankings, predictions, tips, and picks for Fantasy Premier League lineups. RotoBaller's EPL fantasy Gameweek 31 rankings for the 2023-24 FPL season.

Welcome to Gameweek 31, RotoBallers! This is our third year covering FPL, and we are bringing you more coverage than ever. We publish two weekly articles: a staff roundtable preview and our weekly rankings. Then, once a month, we have our newest report, The Watchlist, which reviews the previous month and looks ahead to the upcoming fixtures.

30 gameweeks down, eight to go. The schedule is packed in FPL this week as we start the second of three gameweeks over nine days. Due to the 10 games being played over three days, injury news and predicted lineups will be at an all-time low. Liverpool has one of the tastiest fixtures on the calendar with a home tie against Sheffield United. Meanwhile, Chelsea and Manchester United end the gameweek on Thursday night as both clubs look to boost their European hopes.

The Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 31 deadline is 1:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, April 2, when Newcastle United-Everton and Nottingham Forest-Fulham kick off a 10-game slate over three days of action. Also, look out for the rest of our excellent soccer coverage, as the squad gets you all set for every English Premier League, Major League Soccer, and UEFA Champions League slate from a DFS and betting perspective.

Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 31 Rankings

Our weekly rankings highlight players who could be worth a punt in your Fantasy Premier League squad. While the rankings will be filled with familiar names, a low-owned player with an easy fixture will rise up the one-week charts. For each gameweek, we will provide our top 15 goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. These can also be applied as DFS rankings for your weekend contests.

Gameweek 30 Fantasy Premier League High Scorers

  • Goalkeeper: Emiliano Martinez, Aston Villa - 10 points
  • Defender: Ezri Konsa, Aston Villa - 15 points
  • Midfielder: Brereton Diaz, Sheffield United - 18 points
  • Forward: Alexander Isak, Newcastle - 15 points

FPL Goalkeepers - Gameweek 31 Rankings

  • Clean sheets are tough to come by in FPL this year, so it's all about finding a reliable option and taking the highs with the lows. Caoimhin Kelleher and Dorde Petrovic are fantastic budget options but could be on the bench. Allison Becker could return for Liverpool as soon as next week, and Robert Sanchez is waiting in the wings at Chelsea. I would avoid both despite their upcoming run of fixtures and double gameweeks.

FPL Defenders - Gameweek 31 Rankings

  • Rayan Aït-Nouri is ninth among defenders this season for expected goal involvement (xGI) but is seemingly flying under the FPL radar. Wolves has a nice run of games from now until Gameweek 36, and the flying wingback is well worth an investment. The Algerian defender has produced at least 0.35 xGI in three of the last four Premier League games and has a great fixture against Burnley in Gameweek 31.

FPL Midfielders - Gameweek 31 Rankings

  • Mohamed Salah rightfully tops the list of midfielders in Gameweek 31. The Egyptian winger had a career-high 12 shots versus Brighton on Sunday but only came away with seven FPL points. He has the highest. Predicted points score among all this midweek gameweek and is the runaway favorite to get the Captain's armband. The Reds have scored the most goals (40) at home this year, and Sheffield United has allowed the second most (32) goals on the road.

FPL Forwards - Gameweek 31 Rankings

  • Alexander Isak converted two penalties on Saturday afternoon. It rewarded managers who took the risk of jumping on an injury-prone forward with a good run of fixtures. Fortunately, it's not too late to add the Swede to your FPL squads, as Newcastle still has plenty of favorable fixtures for the run-in. They won't have their double gameweek until Gameweek 37, but if Isak can stay healthy, he will quickly shoot up the striker charts.
