A team that is even worse than the Rangers, currently, is the Tigers who are posting the third-highest K rate vs. righties with a rate of 28.2% over the previous two weeks.

Daiz and the Rays will be facing Reid Detmers and the Angels tonight. Detmers has struggled vs. right-handed hitters as he allowed three dingers to go along with a 5.26 FIP and 1.50 WHIP. Diaz has returned to form and is putting up solid numbers vs. left-handed pitching this season as noted by his .848 OPS. Diaz will likely be leading off tonight as well, which means a possible extra opportunity or two.
