Joe Musgrove OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-160 DraftKings Sportsbook)
The Reds have been terrible to start the season as they are now posting a K rate of 25% vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks, which ranks seventh-worst in the league. Musgrove has been solid as he now has 21 strikeouts over his previous 19 innings pitched and also just struck out seven Reds in his previous start.
Carlos Rodon OVER 8.5 strikeouts (+120 Caesars and DraftKings Sportsbook)
I want to get one in here that is plus money and Rodon has a solid shot to hit this prop. Oakland is striking out at an abysmal 28.6% clip vs. lefties over the previous two weeks, which ranks third-worst in baseball. They are also posting just a 64 wRC+ vs. southpaws over that same span. Meanwhile, Rodon has been electric to begin 2022 as he has struck out at least eight in each of his three starts and has 29 strikeouts through 17 innings pitched.

Manny Machado OVER 1.5 total bases (+100 Caesars Sportsbook)
Machado has started the season with three bombs and a 1.515 OPS vs. left-handers. He will be facing Reds' lefty, Reiver Sanmartin in Great American Small Park tonight. Sanmartin has been crushed by righties as he is posting a 6.08 FIP over his 7 1/3 innings pitched against them. The Reds' pen has also posted the fifth-worst WHIP thus far in 2022, which should help Machado once Sanmartin exits the game.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. OVER 1.5 total bases (-105 DraftKings Sportsbook)
Vladdy has been terrorizing right-handing pitching to begin 2022 as he now has five bombs and a stellar 1.104 OPS against them. He gets a matchup in this one against Nick Pivetta who has already allowed four total home runs this season, two of which have been to right-handed hitters. Pivetta has also posted a 5.98 FIP and 1.55 WHIP against righties. Add in the fact that Vladdy has posted a .946 OPS against Pivetta in 14 career at-bats, and you have a nice matchup to exploit.
