Today's MLB Betting Picks - Rangers @ Rays
O/U: 8.5 | Moneyline: TB -155

This is a fun matchup between two playoff contenders at Tropicana Field. The total is set to 8.5, which seems a bit low here given the Rangers' offense and the way the Rays hit left-handers such as Andrew Heaney a season ago.
In 2023, the Rays posted a 122 wRC+ vs. southpaws, which ranked tied for third-best in baseball. Andrew Heaney also had some rough starts in 2023 as he allowed 23 home runs on the season.
Meanwhile, in 2023, the Rangers posted a 114 wRC+ vs. right-handed pitchers, which ranked fourth-best in baseball. While Zach Eflin was relatively solid last season posting just a 3.50 ERA, he did give up 19 home runs.
There are two plays I like in this game. The first is over 8.5 runs at -105 and the second is the Rays team total over 4.5 runs at +100.

Today's MLB Betting Picks - Blue Jays @ Astros

This is a solid matchup between two potent offenses. The Astros finally got back on track last night after starting 0-4 with a 10-0 win and a Ronel Blanco no-hitter against these Blue Jays.
The Blue Jays will be throwing out Jose Berrios, who has been a mixed bag the past couple of seasons. In 2023, he posted a 3.65 ERA, but allowed 25 home runs. He will be up against an Astros team that posted a wRC+ mark of 108 vs. right-handers in 2023, which ranked sixth-best in baseball.
This is why I like an Astros team total bet here. It is currently set to 4.5 with the over being set to -110. I think the Astros get to Berrios at home and go over this total.
