Welcome to Week 4 of the fantasy football season and the Saturday edition of our WR injury reports! Below you will find our fantasy football injuries report for wide receivers in Week 4, as of September 30. The injury statuses for various NFL wide receivers are up in the air for Week 4, including Deebo Samuel, DK Metcalf, Marquise Brown, Zay Jones, and Odell Beckham Jr.

There are some big names on the injury report, with the status of some having little to no clarity for Week 4. Knowing exactly where each player stands going into the weekend is crucial! Being up-to-date on NFL injury news can give you an edge over your league mates in fantasy football.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Deebo Samuel Injury Update

Deebo Samuel was listed on this past week's injury report with two separate injuries, rib and knee. After sitting out the first two practices of the week, the 27-year-old was able to put in a limited session on Friday and is officially questionable for Sunday's game against Arizona.

Plenty of players will be active through a rib injury, but it is the knee injury that is most concerning. Samuel seems like a true game-time decision to play, but we may know sooner as the 49ers will need to call upon some practice squad receivers to replace their top wideout and Jauan Jennings (shoulder). Brandon Aiyuk will be back this week. He and tight end George Kittle will lead the way if Samuel sits.

DK Metcalf Injury Update

DK Metcalf took a hard hit two weeks ago and has been dealing with a rib injury since. It has cost the 25-year-old practice time over the past few weeks, as he sat out entirely Thursday. However, Metcalf returned in full on Friday, a day sooner than last week. With the game being on Monday night, there is no official injury report available, but Metcalf looks to be on track to play against the Giants.

Metcalf played through the injury last week and caught six passes for 112 yards against Carolina. The Ole Miss alum has yet to finish inside the top 20 on the week through three games but has a good chance to do so against a leaky New York defense. Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba would be the biggest beneficiaries in his absence if Metcalf were to sit out.

Marquise Brown Injury Update

Marquise Brown popped up on Thursday's injury report with a thumb injury. It has left the 26-year-old limited for the rest of the week. Brown was officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers on Friday.

A thumb injury is usually played through, but for a receiver, it is a big deal. Brown had a great performance against the vaunted Dallas defense last weekend, posting five receptions for 61 yards and a score. The matchup against San Francisco is not great, but the Cardinals' top target would be flex-worthy if active due to the target share he commands.

Zay Jones Injury Update

Zay Jones suffered a knee injury in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs and has not practiced since. While the 26-year-old did travel with the team to London, Jones was officially ruled out for their international matchup against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

There is no return date in sight for Jones, and it seems as though he could have been placed on the Injured Reserve with how much time he has missed so far. Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk will continue to lead the charge for Jacksonville at the wide receiver position, while tight end Evan Engram should also see a boost in targets.

Odell Beckham Jr. Injury Update

Odell Beckham Jr. suffered an ankle injury in Week 2 against Cincinnati. While the injury was initially reported to be minor, the 30-year-old has been ruled out for the second week in a row and will miss Sunday's game against the division-rival Cleveland Browns.

Baltimore has been bit hard by the injury bug over the past few weeks and will be down Rashod Bateman (hamstring) as well this weekend. Zay Flowers is the clear top option at the wide receiver position, while Nelson Agholor should serve as the No. 2. Laquon Treadwell is on the practice squad and seems to be the top option to be elevated.

Treylon Burks Injury Update

Treylon Burks dealt with a knee injury before the regular season started but was able to make his debut in Week 1 and has been a full-time starter opposite DeAndre Hopkins. However, the 23-year-old started missing practice time this week and was officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday.

It is encouraging to see that this is not a re-aggravation of the previous knee injury, but he could be out next week against the Colts as well if the timeline given by Mike Vrabel is any indication. Hopkins is off the injury report despite missing practice time this past week and will be the only viable fantasy option this weekend against the Bengals.

Jonathan Mingo Injury Update

Jonathan Mingo suffered a concussion in last week's game against the Seattle Seahawks. The rookie has been able to practice in a limited fashion this week in prep for their Week 4 matchup against the Vikings but was officially listed as questionable for the game on Friday.

Mingo is still in the concussion protocol and will only play if he can clear it before kickoff. The 22-year-old has been the clear No. 2 option next to Adam Thielen and has at least five targets in all three games this year. The matchup against Minnesota makes him a low-end flex option, but D.J. Chark should see an increase in usage if Mingo does miss the game.

Quez Watkins Injury Update

Quez Watkins suffered a hamstring injury in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings and has yet to return to the practice field. These injuries typically last three to four weeks at the least, making his being officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the division-rival Washington Commanders far from shocking.

Olamide Zaccheaus has filled in admirably for Watkins the past few weeks, even catching a bomb touchdown last week against Tampa Bay. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith remain the only viable fantasy options at the wide receiver position for Philadelphia, but Zaccheaus could play his way into more snaps when Watkins returns with another successful outing.

Rashod Bateman Injury Update

Rashod Bateman suffered a hamstring injury in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts. It has caused the 23-year-old to miss every practice this past week and the team officially ruled him out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns on Friday.

Bateman has been an afterthought after the additions of Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) and rookie Zay Flowers this year, amassing only three targets per game. With OBJ also set to miss Week 4, Flowers, Mark Andrews, and Nelson Agholor will be the top option for quarterback Lamar Jackson.
