C.J. Stroud - QB, Houston Texans

C.J. Stroud suffered a knee injury early in Saturday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He did his best to play through it, but Houston ultimately lost the game by a 23-14 margin.

Stroud was seen limping off the field late in the game after re-aggravating the injury, but he did re-enter for the game’s final drive. His injury should have no impact on his 2025 status.

Houston’s signal-caller was one of the biggest fantasy football busts this year as he finished the season as the overall QB18 and was just the QB31 in points per game. He’ll look to bounce back in 2025.

Jared Goff - QB, Detroit Lions

The Lions’ signal-caller took a big hit in Saturday night’s loss to the Washington Commanders.

He briefly left the game to be evaluated for a head injury but soon returned to the field. Maybe that hit affected Goff’s play because he threw three interceptions and had one of his worst games of the season.

With offensive coordinator Ben Johnson likely leaving for a head coaching opportunity, it will be interesting to see how Goff and the offense perform in 2025 with a new signal-caller.

Olamide Zaccheaus - WR, Washington Commanders

Olamide Zaccheaus briefly left the game against the Detroit Lions with a groin injury. The injury wasn’t too serious, and he would quickly return to the game.

Zaccheaus was hardly involved in the offensive game plan and didn’t record a catch on two targets. He will look for a better outing next week against the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles.

Zach Ertz - TE, Washington Commanders

Washington’s TE1 left Saturday’s game to be evaluated for a knee injury. Luckily, it was nothing too serious, and he would return to the game.

Ertz would catch a huge touchdown pass in the closing minutes of the first half to put Washington ahead by 10 points. They would ultimately win by a score of 45-31 and advance to the NFC Championship Game. Ertz’s injury doesn’t appear to be anything too serious, and he should be fine for next week’s contest.

Matthew Stafford - QB, Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford took a hard hit to the ribs in yesterday’s game with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was reportedly in pain on the Rams' sidelines and fought through the injury for most of the game.

Stafford almost led the team to an incredible come-from-behind victory, but the Rams ultimately fell short. Barring something unforeseen, he should be under center for the Rams once again in 2025.

Saquon Barkley - RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia’s star rusher had another big day against the Los Angeles Rams. He ran for 205 yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Barkley was also briefly examined by trainers for a wrist injury. He was taped up, re-entered the game, and looked just fine. Barkley should be okay for next week’s showdown with the Washington Commanders. With Washington ranking 26th in defensive rushing DVOA per FTN Fantasy, Barkley could be in line for another big day.

Jalen Hurts - QB, Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts appeared to suffer a knee injury in last night’s victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

Fortunately for the Eagles, Hurts would remain in the game and helped Philadelphia close out a 28-22 victory. Philadelphia’s signal-caller has said he is fine and will play in the week's NFC Championship Game. We suspect this is likely true, but it would be wise to monitor the RotoBaller newsfeed for any changes to his status. Even still, it’s hard to see Hurts not playing with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.

Rashod Bateman - WR, Baltimore Ravens

With Zay Flowers missing his second consecutive game, Rashod Bateman filled in as the team’s WR1. He played well and posted a 4-66-1 line on five targets.

Unfortunately, his performance was not enough to grab the win as Baltimore would fall to the Buffalo Bills. Bateman also suffered an injury on Baltimore’s final drive; however, he would quickly re-enter the game. The fourth-year wideout had a career season in 2024 and will look to take his game to another level in 2025.
