Week 8 Kicker Rankings Outlooks
Andy Borregales, New England Patriots
New England Patriots kicker Andy Borregales remains off the fantasy radar in most leagues ahead of Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns. Borregales underperformed to start the season, but he has come around lately with more attempts and more confidence from long range, both of which can be attributed to the rookie and his coaches.
The Miami product is 9-for-10 on field goals and 18-for-20 on extra points so far, ranking as the overall K22 through seven weeks. Borregales' recent improvement is encouraging, but factors like a non-domed stadium and a matchup against a solid defense make him tough to trust. After all, the Browns have allowed the 13th-fewest fantasy points to kickers in 2025. Borregales is avoidable in most leagues, but he does have some low-end appeal in deeper formats.
Jake Elliott, Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott had his first missed field goal of the season against the Vikings as a 42-yard attempt sailed wide right in the fourth quarter. He did, however, make all four of his extra points. As it stands, Elliott is already an unreliable fantasy kicker with his lack of attempts, and he's even more unappealing if he starts missing.
The Eagles will host the Giants in Week 8, and New York allows 25.3 points per game, 10th-most in the league. But even with a below-average defense, Elliott has not shown that he's start-worthy in fantasy.
Graham Gano, New York Giants
New York Giants kicker Graham Gano (groin), who remains on Injured Reserve, is considered questionable to make his return for the Week 8 divisional rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, according to Dan Salomone of Giants.com. Gano was limited in practice all week but is expected to be officially activated from IR on Saturday and play on Sunday.
The 38-year-old veteran placekicker was the team's starting kicker for the first three weeks of the season before injuring his groin, making all six of his field-goal tries (one from 50-plus yards) and all four of his extra-point attempts. Fantasy managers should be settling for safer kicking options this weekend. Still, with New York's offense on the upswing, thanks to rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart and rookie running back Cam Skattebo, Gano could be on the streaming radar in the coming weeks now that he's on the cusp of his return.
Wil Lutz, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos kicker Wil Lutz comes into Week 8 as RotoBaller's ninth overall-ranked kicker in what could be a high-scoring affair against the Dallas Cowboys in Denver. Lutz has continued to be a reliable kicker for the Broncos, converting 90% of field goals in 2025 and going without a missed PAT.
However, the Cowboys' defense has allowed an average of only 1.7 field goal attempts per game this season. Since the Cowboys will also be facing one of their toughest defensive matchups yet, it could be a game where every point matters, and the Broncos will have to kick more often to win if the offense sputters. Count on Lutz to remain consistent when his name is called in Week 8.
