Rankings Highlights

QB: After getting the hook last week, it seemed that Case Keenum might not even start in week 12.  But he's getting the nod, and we like him all the way at #6 overall in our week 12 QB rankings. That's right, ahead of Romo, Kaepernick and Luck. Why? Simple - he's a gunslinger and he gets the Jags in week 12.  Pencil Keenum in as a legit QB1 for week 12.  Someone we're not as high on in week 12 is RG3 who we rank 3 spots below the other experts. RG3 has a tough week 12 matchup vs. the imposing Niners defense, so he falls to 12th overall in our week 12 QB ranks.

RB: A big surprise here apparently is how much we like Pierre Thomas, whom we rank at 11 overall for our week 12 RB rankings. The experts have him 18 which is puzzling considering how bad Atalanta's defense has been. Thomas has been heavily involved in Brees' passing attack, so in PPR leagues, we'd put him even higher. Andre Brown appears at #7 overall - he's running with purpose and we don't see the Dallas backfield able to stop him or the Giants renewed running game. He's a legit RB2 and borderline RB1 this week. Two other guys we like a lot are Bobby Rainey and Shane Vereen, ranked at 17 and 15 respectively in our week 12 RB ranks.  The experts aren't as high on these guys, but c'mon, who you gonna trust?

WR: In our WR PPR rankings for week 12, Megatron is no surprise at #1 overall. What might surprise some of you is Dez Bryant at #2 overall. Look, people generally overreact to recent past performance.  Dez has had a down couple weeks, but the Dallas offense is going to center around him in week 12 vs. the G-Men who despite a nice looking run D still can't stop the passing attack.  Dez has lit them up in the past - you can lock him in as a must-start WR1 this week.  While the experts are high on Brandon Marshall at #5 overall, we like him considerably less at 10 overall in our week 12 WR PPR ranks.  You're starting him regardless, but don't count on him having a great game vs. the Rams. Wes Welker is coming off a possible concussion and is only 50-50 to play on Sunday vs. NE, so we are baffled how the experts can rank him 11th overall.  Downgrade Welker and pay attention to the updates Thursday and Friday because there's a good chance he doesn't play.

TE: Not many surprises in our week 12 TE rankings until you get down to #15 in Ladarius Green. Green has ridiculous talent and had a breakout week 11 game. The Chargers are a high-flying passing attack, so if you play in a super deep league or a 2 TE league, Green is a very nice sleeper.  We are not very high on Jordan Cameron in our week 12 TE rankings - we rank him at 17 compared to the experts' 12.  If you have a better option, use it.
