Breece Hall Injury Update

New York Jets running back Breece Hall (lower half) missed some organized team activities and mandatory minicamp this offseason with an undisclosed "lower-half" injury, but Hall said it was out of precaution and he now feels "back to my old self." Hall was mostly rehabbing his torn left ACL last offseason and he admitted he returned a little tentative in 2023, but he still managed nearly 1,000 yards rushing and caught 76 passes for a league-high 591 receiving yards in 17 games after quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) suffered a season-ending injury early in Week 1.

The 23-year-old finished with 507 scrimmage yards in the final three games and is on the rise heading into 2024, especially with Rodgers now back healthy. In most fantasy formats, Hall is going to be the second RB off the board in drafts this fall after Christian McCaffrey. ESPN.com

Joe Burrow Injury Update

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (wrist) has been no stranger to injuries through the first four years of his NFL career. The former LSU product missed six games in his 2020 rookie season due to a torn ACL and seven games last year after suffering a major wrist injury.

Heading into 2024, staying healthy is his main focus. "Well, number one, I want to be on the field for all the games," Burrow said. "I know I'm going to play well when I'm out there. I'm at that point in my career where I've seen enough to know myself that I can go out there and play as well as anybody in the game. The biggest strides this year are going to be my body and learning how to get through the season, get through practices with my body, and feeling in tip-top shape. And so that's the main focus for the offseason." The 27-year-old and the organization are going to be extra cautious with the former No. 1 overall pick, and if he can stay healthy, a top-six fantasy QB season is within his range of outcomes. Dak Prescott Injury Update

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (foot) recently suffered a right foot sprain, with a picture circulating showing the signal-caller wearing a walking boot on vacation. However, while speaking with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, he downplayed the significance of the photo while indicating the boot was worn during his vacation for precautionary reasons, something he's needed to do at times since suffering a right ankle compound fracture-dislocation in 2020. "The last time I went deep sea fishing, my ankle swole up," Prescott said. "I'm great."

The 30-year-old is coming off one of his best seasons, finishing the 2023-24 campaign by throwing for 4,516 yards, 36 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He also completed a career-high 69.5% of his passes. Without question, Prescott's health will be something fantasy managers will monitor in 2024-25. But with the motivation to earn a new contract, another stellar year could be on the horizon. In a separate article by ESPN, Prescott is no longer wearing the boot, which is undoubtedly good news heading into training camp. NBC Sports

Aaron Rodgers Injury Update

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) missed the team's mandatory minicamp last month because he had a pre-planned trip to Egypt, according to sources. Rodgers attended every day of the team's Phase 1 voluntary workouts and missed one week of Phase 2 but attended every organized team activity workout, which was also voluntary.

The future Hall of Famer originally planned his trip to Egypt during his recovery from the season-ending Achilles injury he suffered in Week 1 of 2023. While it was an unexcused absence, the Jets aren't concerned that it will impact Rodgers' season this fall as he recovers from his Achilles injury. Rodgers should be able to bounce back from a career-worst season in his final year in Green Bay in 2022, but fantasy managers also shouldn't be lumping him into the QB1 discussion at his age while coming off a serious injury. Xavier Legette Injury Update

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette (hamstring) sat out offseason workouts last month due to hamstring issues, but the rookie first-round pick looks healthy in an Instagram video showing him working out. While this is not clear evidence that he's cleared and ready to go when training camp begins, it's a great sign for his potential availability. The No. 32 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft out of South Carolina has every opportunity to be a top-two option in the passing game for second-year quarterback Bryce Young.

Legette has off-the-charts speed and athleticism at 220 pounds, but since he failed to reach 500 receiving yards in his first four collegiate seasons combined, he is a controversial prospect and fantasy football option. Unless Carolina takes a significant step forward on offense, Legette is likely to be a fringe fantasy-relevant wideout as a rookie. NFL.com

Von Miller Injury Update

Buffalo Bills edge rusher Von Miller turned in the worst season of his career last year. The 35-year-old posted just three tackles and zero sacks in 12 games upon his return from a torn ACL that he suffered in 2022. The MVP of Super Bowl 50 said is aiming to get back on the right track in 2024. "My biggest individual goal is just getting back to playing my style of football," he said.

"It's crazy how you get injured, and you come back, and you really shouldn't have even been playing," Miller said. "And people judge you by a product on the field. I could have easily sat out all of last season, but I couldn't do my teammates like that. I felt like being later in my career, I didn't want to sacrifice any of my years. But at the same time, I shouldn't have been out there." It sounds like Miller never felt like himself and he is "angry" heading into his 13th NFL campaign. Miller is the active leader in career sacks (123.5) and could move into 16th place all-time with just five sacks this season. NFL.com

Ashton Dulin Injury Update

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Ashton Dulin (knee) suffered a torn ACL during last year's training camp and has been limited this offseason, but he was seen working out and moving well in an Instagram post this week. This is a great sign for his potential training camp availability later this month.

The 2019 undrafted free agent out of Malone University has hauled in just 33 passes for 450 yards and three touchdowns through his first 55 NFL games, but he was named a second-team All-Pro in 2021 for his special teams ability. Dulin is unlikely to see meaningful action as a wideout behind Michael Pittman Jr.Josh DownsAdonai Mitchell, and Alec Pierce, so he can be ignored in fantasy football.
