Fantasy Football Injury Reports: Week 14 Updates For Bucky Irving, DK Metcalf, Malik Nabers, Mike Evans, Breece Hall

Bucky Irving - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Fantasy football injury updates and injury reports for QB, RB, WR, TE for Week 14 (2024), as of 12/7/24, including Bucky Irving, DK Metcalf, Malik Nabers, and Breece Hall.

It's desperation time for fantasy leagues that are down to the final week of the regular season.

Week 14 has quite a few obstacles to overcome: six teams are on a bye, time is running out, and waiver wires are thinning quickly as managers monitor injuries to starting-caliber players like Malik Nabers, Breece Hall, Bucky Irving, Dallas Goedert, and DK Metcalf.

For up-to-date information in a critical week, download the free RotoBaller fantasy football mobile app and bookmark the fantasy football player news page. This is the latest as of Saturday, Dec. 7.

Bucky Irving Injury Update

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (hip, back) is listed as questionable to play in Week 14 against the Las Vegas Raiders, according to the team's final injury report.

Irving practiced Friday, but Tampa may have to turn to Rachaad White and Sean Tucker if the rookie from Oregon cannot play.

Malik Nabers Injury Updates

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers (hip) is listed as questionable to take part in the club's Week 14 game against New Orleans, according to its final injury report of the week.

The rookie did not practice all week, so the Giants' list of inactives on Sunday will be worth watching. Darius Slayton and Wan'Dale Robinson would be New York's top two options if Nabers can't play.

Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans Injury Updates

Quarterback Baker Mayfield (Achilles, knee) and wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring, calf) do not appear on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Week 14 injury report prior to a meeting with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Mayfield practiced every day this week and Evans also does not have a designation, indicating there's nothing major to worry about for the duo.

George Pickens Injury Update

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens (hamstring) was newly added to the injury report and listed as questionable to play the Cleveland Browns in Week 13.

The receiver has not missed a game this season, but an absence likely would mean more targets for tight end Pat Freiermuth and wide receiver Calvin Austin III.

D.K. Metcalf and Kenneth Walker III Injury Updates

Wide receiver D.K. Metcalf (shoulder) of the Seattle Seahawks does not appear on Seattle's Week 14 injury report, but running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle, calf) is listed as questionable.

Metcalf has played through the shoulder injury in previous weeks and appears ready to do so again, though Walker's status is cloudier. Running back Zach Charbonnet is the next man up if Walker is out.

Jakobi Meyers Injury Update

The Las Vegas Raiders listed Jakobi Meyers (ankle) as questionable on their Week 14 injury report prior to playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Meyers did practice in a limited capacity on Friday. The veteran has been an excellent high-ADP find this year following the Raiders' trade of Davante Adams, but Tre Tucker would be the de facto No. 1 receiver if Meyers can't play.

Breece Hall Injury Update

The New York Jets listed Breece Hall (knee) as doubtful to play in their Week 14 visit to Miami.

New York's season already has arrived at the playing-out-the-string stage, so it will be noteworthy to see how the club uses the star running back without much to play for the rest of the way. Rookie Braelon Allen is the logical choice to take over Hall's workload.

DeVonta Smith Injury Update

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) does not have an injury designation and is expected to play Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, according to the official injury report.

Smith has missed the past two games with the injury but appears ready to rejoin the team in time to play the 3-9 Panthers.

Dallas Goedert Injury Update

The Philadelphia Eagles ruled out tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) for their Week 14 matchup against Carolina.

The veteran tight end didn't practice all week, so the designation was no surprise. Philly will once again turn to Grant Calcaterra, who previously has played at least 90% of the team's snaps three times this season.

DJ Moore Injury Update

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore (quad) is questionable to play at the San Francisco 49ers, according to the club's official report.

Moore drew a whopping 16 targets last week in the loss to Detroit, which was the final straw for former head coach Matt Eberflus. If Moore can't play, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze will be Chicago's top two receivers.

Cedric Tillman Injury Update

The Cleveland Browns will be without wide receiver Cedric Tillman (concussion) when they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Tillman had carved out a nice role this year, logging three straight top-15 PPR finishes in Weeks 7-9, but will miss a second straight game. Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore should be Cleveland's top two answers at receiver.

D'Andre Swift Injury Update

The Chicago Bears listed running back D'Andre Swift (quad) as questionable to play against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 14.

Complicating matters for Chicago is that running back Roschon Johnson (concussion) was ruled out, leaving Travis Homer as the possible starter. Homer hasn't carried the ball since Week 2, but the Bears might not have another option if Swift can't play.

Dalton Kincaid and Keon Coleman Injury Updates

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) and wide receiver Keon Coleman (wrist) are both listed as questionable to play the Los Angeles Rams.

Neither played in last week's snowglobe rout of San Francisco, in which tight end Dawson Knox led the team in receiving yardage (56) and wide receiver Khalil Shakir in targets and catches (seven, four).
