A.J. Brown Injury Update

Brown (hamstring) was a late addition to the injury report this week and is officially questionable to play on Monday night against the Falcons. There's a real chance he could miss this week's game. Fantasy managers should have a contingency plan in place in case he's ruled out Monday night.

Christian McCaffrey Injury Update

McCaffrey (Achilles) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, which means he'll miss at least four games. The backfield belongs to Jordan Mason going forward; he's a solid RB2 in fantasy football.

Jordan Love Injury Update

Love (knee) was downgraded to doubtful after suffering an MCL injury in Week 1. He won't play on Sunday, leaving Malik Willis in line to start. Willis is not a reliable fantasy option, and this quarterback downgrade also lowers the fantasy floors for players like Josh Jacobs and Jayden Reed.

Kenneth Walker III Injury Update

Walker (oblique) is doubtful to play on Sunday against the Patriots. Zach Charbonnet is in line to start at running back, ranking as a high-end RB3/FLEX for fantasy purposes.

Jayden Reed Injury Update

Reed (calf, shin) is expected to play in Week 2 despite being listed as questionable. His fantasy value could take a hit with Malik Willis quarterbacking the Packers. Reed drops to the WR3 tier this week.

Tee Higgins Injury Update

Higgins (hamstring) is expected to miss Week 2 against the Chiefs. He had been listed as doubtful. His 2024 debut will have to wait at least another week. Andrei Iosivas and Trenton Irwin should see more snaps in his absence, but neither receiver can be trusted in fantasy football.

Keenan Allen Injury Update

Allen (heel) is a game-time decision for Week 2 against the Texans. Even if he is active, there's a chance he could be used sparingly on a reduced snap count. If he's inactive, Odunze (knee) would generate some low-end FLEX appeal.

Jameson Williams Injury Update

Williams (ankle) is expected to play against the Buccaneers on Sunday. He broke out for five catches, 121 yards, and one touchdown in Week 1, taking plenty of volume away from Amon-Ra St. Brown. He's an appealing WR3/FLEX option this week.

Josh Palmer Injury Update

Palmer (knee) is expected to play against the Panthers. Although Palmer only caught two passes last week, he has plenty of upside this Sunday against a Panthers team that looked miserable in the season opener.

Rome Odunze Injury Update

Odunze (knee) is trending toward playing on Sunday, but he'll test his injury pregame to confirm his availability. The rookie lacks redraft appeal when he's third on the depth chart, but he could generate some interest if the Bears rule out Allen (heel).

Josh Downs Injury Update

Downs (ankle) practiced in full on Friday but is still considered a toss-up for Sunday's game against the Packers. Even if he suits up, he'd be tough to trust in fantasy football given that he's coming off an injury and would be competing for targets with the likes of Michael Pittman Jr., Alec Pierce, and Adonai Mitchell.

MarShawn Lloyd Injury Update

Lloyd (hamstring) is expected to be active for his NFL debut against the Colts on Sunday. He'll operate in a depth role behind Josh Jacobs and possibly Emanuel Wilson, but he figures to see the field for at least a few opportunities.
