Ja'Marr Chase Injury Update

Update: Ja'Marr Chase was ruled out for Sunday's game on Saturday afternoon.

Ja'Marr Chase has been out of action since Week 8 due to a hip injury. The 22-year-old returned to the practice field for the first time since suffering the injury this week and was a limited participant from Wednesday to Friday. He was officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Tennessee on Friday.

Head Coach Zac Taylor was brief on the matter during his Friday press conference, but all signs are pointing towards Chase making his return to the field in Week 12. It is reasonable to assume he may be brought back slowly and could be on a limited snap count. Regardless, he should be considered a WR2, at the very least, in a plus matchup against Tennessee.

Deebo Samuel Injury Update

Deebo Samuel has been dealing with a hamstring injury this season and seemed to tweak it a bit late in the game against Arizona this past week. The 26-year-old was able to log three limited practice sessions this week but was officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against New Orleans on Friday.

All signs point to Samuel playing this week but monitor the weekend injury report just to be safe since this game is scheduled for 4:25 EST. The 49ers' top receiver will see a healthy dose of star corner Marshawn Lattimore this week but should still be considered a back-end WR1.

Mike Williams Injury Update

Mike Williams made his return to the field last week but, after one catch, reaggravated his ankle injury. The 28-year-old was held out of practice this week and officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals on Friday.

Sitting out this week is not a shock, but Williams' eventual return to the field is to be determined. Fantasy managers should plan to be without him for at least one more week unless he can return to practice in full before next Saturday. Keenan Allen, Joshua Palmer, and tight end Gerald Everett should be the biggest target beneficiaries in Williams' absence.

Jerry Jeudy Injury Update

Jerry Jeudy missed last week's game due to an ankle injury he suffered in Week 10 against Tennessee. The 23-year-old has failed to return to the practice field since the injury and was officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers on Friday.

With teammate KJ Hamler (hamstring) also ruled out for Sunday, Kendall Hinton will see increased usage as the WR2 for Denver alongside starter Courtland Sutton. Jeudy does not seem close to returning, so fantasy managers should be prepared to continue to pivot off of him as the fantasy season winds down.

Kadarius Toney Injury Update

Kadarius Toney has battled hamstring injuries for the majority of the season. The 23-year-old reaggravated the injury this past week during the game against the Los Angeles Chargers and was sidelined at practice this week. He was officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams on Friday.

Toney's absence should lead to more playing time for rookie Skyy Moore, who has seen an increase in play time over the past few weeks. With the hamstring issue being a recurring injury this year, it is safe to assume the second-year receiver could miss multiple games. Fantasy managers should plan accordingly past this week.

Allen Robinson Injury Update

Allen Robinson picked up an ankle injury in Week 11. The 29-year-old was able to remain limited in practice this week despite the injury, but was officially labeled as questionable for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Robinson is trending in the right direction to play this week, but his already low fantasy upside will be capped even more with quarterback Matthew Stafford (neck) missing this game. Consider the veteran receiver a risky FLEX option in Week 12.

Rondale Moore Injury Update

Rondale Moore left last week's game against the San Francisco 49ers early last week due to a groin injury. The 22-year-old was held out of practice this week and was officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday.

With Greg Dortch (thumb) a game-time decision, the Cardinals might be extremely thin at the slot receiver position. Marquise Brown (ankle) is set to make his return, but it could be in a limited fashion. Moore may miss multiple weeks due to the injury, so keep an eye on next week's practice reports.

Romeo Doubs Injury Update

Romeo Doubs has been out since Week 10 due to an ankle injury he suffered the week prior. The rookie failed to return to practice in any capacity this week and was officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday.

Christian Watson has emerged in Doubs' absence and considering he could miss Week 13 as well, his role in the offense moving forward is unknown. Doubs can safely be dropped in redraft leagues if needed and should be considered a fringe WR4 upon his return.

KJ Hamler Injury Update

KJ Hamler has been out since Week 10 due to a lingering hamstring injury. The 23-year-old has yet to return to the practice field in any capacity and was officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers on Friday.

Jerry Jeudy (ankle) will also miss this game, leading to an increase in snap share for Kendall Hinton opposite Courtland Sutton. Hamler can be dropped in all redraft leagues and it is truly unknown if he will retake the field this season due to the Broncos' poor chances of making the playoffs.

Demarcus Robinson Injury Update

Demarcus Robinson was a surprise addition to this past Thursday's injury report due to a hip issue. The 28-year-old returned to practice in full on Friday but ended up listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Robinson is coming off of a nine-catch performance where he tallied 128 yards. The matchup against Jacksonville is exploitable, making the veteran receiver a FLEX option if he can suit up. Monitor injury reports over the weekend to get a better indication of Robinson's chances at playing in Week 12.

Greg Dortch Injury Update

Greg Dortch hurt his thumb during a punt return in the fourth quarter of last week's game against the 49ers. The 24-year-old failed to practice this week but was listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Without participating in any practice this week, it is tough to imagine Dortch will suit up and will likely be limited if he does. With Marquise Brown (ankle) set to make his return and DeAndre Hopkins commanding a massive target share, it would be best to avoid the young receiver this week, even if he is active.

Terrace Marshall Jr. Injury Update

Terrace Marshall Jr. has been limited in practice this week due to a shoulder injury. The second-year receiver was officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos on Friday.

Marshall is coming off of a 76-yard performance against the Baltimore Ravens but is not a recommended fantasy option this week against a stiff Broncos defense. It is better to hold off with quarterback Sam Darnold set to make his first start of the season anyway.

Russell Gage Injury Update

Russell Gage has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since Week 8. The 26-year-old has yet to make a return to practice in any capacity and was officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns on Friday.

Gage may not even be a viable fantasy option with Julio Jones operating as the No. 3 wide receiver, so he can safely be left on the waiver wire unless he returns to practice and an injury occurs.
