Christian McCaffrey Injury Update

McCaffrey (calf, Achilles) has already been ruled out for Week 2 as he continues to deal with tendinitis. In addition to missing the first two games of the year, McCaffrey could end up being placed on injured reserve. Jordan Mason will step up once again as the Niners' lead back.

Josh Jacobs Injury Update

Jacobs (back) was limited in practice on Friday but doesn't carry an injury designation into the weekend. He'll be healthy for Green Bay and could get some extra looks as a short-range safety valve for Malik Willis in his first game as a Packer.

Kenneth Walker III Injury Update

UPDATE: Walker has officially been ruled OUT for Week 2

Walker (oblique) is officially listed as doubtful after missing three consecutive practices. Barring a medical miracle, he'll be inactive versus the Patriots this week. Look for Zach Charbonnet to start in his absence, giving him low-end RB2 appeal.

Audric Estime Injury Update

Estime (ankle) was placed on injured reserve earlier this week. He'll miss at least four games. This move figures to create more opportunities for Blake Watson behind Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin.

Antonio Gibson Injury Update

Gibson (hip) was limited in practice on Friday but does not carry an injury designation into Week 2 versus the Seahawks. Barring an unexpected development, he'll suit up for the Patriots' home opener. However, as long as he remains behind Rhamondre Stevenson, he can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

Dameon Pierce Injury Update

Pierce (hamstring) is officially questionable to play in Week 2 against the Bears. He was limited on Thursday but did not practice at all on Friday. It appears he's trending toward being a true game-time decision. At the very least, he'll test his injury pregame to determine whether he can play. Even if active, he's off the radar in most fantasy leagues.

MarShawn Lloyd Injury Update

Lloyd (hamstring) is officially questionable for Week 2. The rookie missed last week's season opener and could find himself on the sidelines again versus Indianapolis. He and Emanuel Wilson are vying for backup reps behind Jacobs.

Hassan Haskins Injury Update

Haskins (toe) was limited for a third consecutive day on Friday. The team has listed him as questionable heading into Week 2 versus the Panthers. He's merely a depth option behind J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards, so he can be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues.

Raheem Blackshear Injury Update

Blackshear (personal) missed his second consecutive practice on Friday. The talented kick returner is officially listed as questionable for Week 2, and it seems like there's a real chance he could miss Sunday's game.

JaMycal Hasty Injury Update

Hasty (ankle) was limited in practice on Friday. He is officially listed as questionable but did tell the media that he expects to suit up in Week 2. Even if active for the Patriots' home opener, Hasty's depth role keeps him off the fantasy radar.

Jase McClellan Injury Update

McClellan (knee) was officially limited on Friday. He'll have one more opportunity on Saturday to practice in a greater capacity before the Falcons issue him an official injury designation. Regardless of whether he plays in Week 2, he's off the fantasy radar given his role behind Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier.
