Fantasy Football Advice: Week Six Recap

Giants @ Bears

The Bears played well and kept the Giants winless, taking this game by a score of 27-21. Jay Cutler threw for 262 yards with two TDs and Matt Forte had 67 rushing yards. Brandon Marshall had nine receptions for 87 yards with two touchdowns. Eli Manning threw for 239 yards with one TD and another three INTs. Brandon Jacobs ran the ball well, managing 06 rushing yards and two TDs on the ground. Rueben Randle caught three passes for 75 yards and a TD.

 

Lions @ Browns

Detroit's offense got back on track as they defeated Cleveland 31-17. Matthew Stafford had 298 passing yards with four touchdowns through the air. Reggie Bush had 135 total yards with a TD and Joseph Fauria had three receiving TDs. Brandon Weeden threw for 292 yards with two passing touchdowns and two INTs. Josh Gordon had seven receptions for 126 yards.

 

Eagles @ Buccaneers

Philadelphia played a good game and was able to win 31-20 over Tampa Bay. Nick Foles had 296 passing yards with three TDs and a rushing TD. LeSean McCoy had 171 total yards on offense and Riley Cooper had four receptions for 120 yards and a TD. Mike Glennon had 273 yards through the air with two touchdowns and one INT. Vincent Jackson had nine catches for 114 yards with two touchdowns.

 

Packers @ Ravens

The Packers defense played a solid game and they won 19-17 against the Ravens. Aaron Rodgers completed 17 passes for 315 yards with one TD and one INT. Eddie Lacy carried the ball 23 times for 120 yards and Jordy Nelson had four receptions for 113 yards with one TD. Joe Flacco threw for 342 yards with two touchdowns. Tandon Doss caught four passes for 99 yards.

 

Rams @ Texans

St.Louis made quick work of Houston and coasted to a 38-13 victory. Sam Bradford only had 12 completions for 112 yards, but he made them count with three TD passes. Zac Stacy was efficient on the ground with 18 carries for 79 yards. Matt Schaub only threw for 186 yards with no TDs in the game. Schaub had to leave the game in the third quarter because of a right ankle injury. Arian Foster was great with 141 rushing yards and he added another 57 yards through the air. Andre Johnson had seven receptions for 88 yards.

 

Panthers @ Vikings

Carolina ran all over Minnesota with a 35-10 victory. Cam Newton had a monster game, throwing for 242 yards with three passing touchdowns and rushing for one more, while Brandon LaFell caught four passes for 107 yards and a TD. Matt Cassel had 241 passing yards with one touchdown and two INTs. Kyle Rudolph had nine receptions for 97 yards and a TD.

 

Titans @ Seahawks

Seattle played just good enough to win, hanging on for a 20-13 victory. Russell Wilson had 257 passing yards and Marshawn Lynch had 77 rushing yards with two rushing TDs. Lynch also led all receivers with 78 receiving yards. Ryan Fitzpatrick had 171 yards through the air and he threw two INTs. Kendall Wright caught five passes for 69 yards.

 

Cardinals @ 49ers

The 49ers used a balanced offense to defeat the Cardinals by a score of 32-20. Colin Kaepernick had 252 passing yards and two TDs. Frank Gore ran the ball well with 101 yards on the ground. Vernon Davis had a monster game with eight catches for 180 yards and two TDs. Carson Palmer threw for 298 passing yards with two TDs and two INTs. Andre Ellington carried the ball seven times for 56 yards and one touchdown. Larry Fitzgerald had six receptions for 117 yards.

 

Saints @ Patriots

New England stunned New Orleans with a late touchdown and handed them their first loss of the season. Tom Brady threw for 269 yards with one TD and one INT. Stevan Ridley had 96 yards on the ground with two rushing TDs. Kenbrell Thompkins caught the game-winning TD and finished with 45 receiving yards. Drew Brees threw for 236 yards with two touchdowns and one INT. Kenny Stills caught three passes for 64 yards with one TD.

 

Redskins @ Cowboys

Dallas used a strong defensive effort to knock off Washington by a final score of 31-16. Tony Romo threw for 170 yards with one TD and one INT. DeMarco Murray had 29 rushing yards and a rushing TD. He had to leave the game due to a sprained left knee.  Cole Beasley caught four passes for 44 yards. Robert Griffin had 246 passing yards and had another 77 yards on the ground. Alfred Morris carried the ball 16 times for 81 yards and had a rushing TD. Pierre Garcon caught six passes for 69 yards.
