Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers - Top Waiver Wire Pickups and Starts for Week 26 (Sept. 16 - Sept. 22)

TJ Friedl - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Fantasy baseball hitter streamers and starts for Week 26 of the 2024 season. Thunder Dan Palyo analyzes the top batter streamers to pick up in Week 26.

The fantasy baseball season is slowly winding down as the actual MLB regular season is nearly at an end. But for all of you still grinding those roto leagues or in your H2H playoffs, we still have you covered with waiver-wire content to the end!

Our hitter streamers fantasy baseball waiver-wire pickups column will identify hitters with good matchups who can be considered waiver-wire streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver-wire runs for leagues with weekly transactions.

In this piece, every week, I'll look to find hitters playing in the most games and who have the most favorable matchups to help you plug those gaps and fill those holes in your roster. You can also check out the rest of our fantasy baseball streamer content here at RotoBaller.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

What Teams Offer The Most Streaming Value?

14 teams are playing seven games this week -- ARI, ATL, CHC, CLE, HOU, LAA, LAD, MIL, MIN, NYM, PHI, PIT, STL, and WAS.

Every other team plays six games.

The Diamondbacks are in Coors for three games -- UPGRADE!

The Reds are at home for all six games -- UPGRADE!

Week 26 Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers

I'll recommend only players who are 40% rostered or lower, and all roster percentages are from Yahoo!

Zack Gelof, 2B - OAK (39%)

Gelof's sophomore season has been somewhat of a disappointment as he's still hitting just .217 on the year even after getting hot here the last few weeks. But all we care about is how he finishes out September, and Gelof is not only hitting well (.340 over the last two weeks) but he's also stealing bases (four steals during that period).

TJ Friedl, OF - CIN (32%)

TJ has been terrorizing the Twins in this weekend's series. He's 7-for-8 with two home runs, four runs scored, and five RBI through the first two games of the series.

Over the last two weeks, he's hitting .326 with 13 RBI and two stolen bases. We all know what he can do when he gets locked in at the plate. With the Reds being at home all this week in one of the best parks for hitters, Friedl is easily one of the best adds out there if you need some offensive production across the board.

Victor Robles, OF - SEA (30%)

Robles was featured last week at only 18% rostership and he has not slowed down one bit. He's been an absolute menace on the basepaths, stealing six bases last week. The Mariners are letting him be extremely aggressive as a baserunner, and it's paying off in a big way. If you need batting average, runs scored, and/or steals this week, then Robles is the top add.

Andrew Vaughn, 1B/OF - CHW (27%)

While the White Sox might be plummeting to a record-setting finish in futility, Vaughn has been one of the bright spots in the lineup as he's hitting .368 over the last two weeks with a couple of home runs. The Chi Sox will get the Angels in L.A. next, and he should have some favorable matchups in that series against young pitchers.

Lars Nootbaar, OF - STL (25%)

It's been a rocky season for Nootbaar, who has battled injuries several times during the year. But since mid-August, the Cardinals slugger has been pretty consistent and looked a lot more like what we expected from him in terms of production.

Over the last two weeks, he's hitting .344 with seven RBI and two stolen bases. While he's been hitting in the bottom half of the lineup lately, don't be fooled -- Nootbaar is a very disciplined hitter who could help you down the stretch.

Parker Meadows, OF - DET (20%)

I'm still a big believer in Meadows' talents, and he's been showing recently why he was so highly regarded as a prospect. He has 13 RBI and eight runs scored over the last two weeks while slugging three home runs. That was good for a top-50 finish during that period.

Luke Raley, 1B/OF - SEA (17%)

Raley is red-hot at the plate, belting his 20th home run of the season yesterday in a big Seattle win. He's made nine straight starts for the Mariners and is hitting .310 with four home runs, 11 RBI, and seven runs scored over that span.

If he's going to play every day and is finally free of the platoon, Raley has a massive upside. He ranks 23rd overall in the Yahoo Player rater over the last two weeks!

Jake Fraley, OF - CIN (11%)

We have a bit of a pattern this week, with the Reds and Mariners both dominating the pickups. But there's a lot to like here with Fraley, who has made 13 straight starts in the outfield for Cincinnati and is doing a great job of getting on base and swiping bags.

In September, Fraley has two home runs and four stolen bases, while hitting .333. Those numbers will play, for sure, and remember that the Reds are home at Great American Ball Park all week!

Fantasy Baseball Deep League Hitter Streamers to Consider

Some widely available hitters (under 10% rostered) could be worth a look this week.

Jonny DeLuca, OF - TB (10%)

Otto Lopez, 2B/SS - MIA (9%)

Jesus Sanchez, OF - MIA (8%)

Nick Gonzales, 2B/SS - PIT (8%)

Jose Tena, 3B/SS - WAS (8%)

Tommy Pham, OF - KC (5%)

Randal Grichuk, OF - ARI (5%)

Pavin Smith, 1B/OF - ARI (3%)

Good luck this week, and choose those streaming options wisely!
