FanDuel Studs: Our Best DFS Lineup Picks for Fantasy Football

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Branden_Oliver_in_preseason.jpg

Real Talk Raph discusses FanDuel studs and his best DFS lineup picks from Week 6, as he helps you find fantasy football sleepers and win your FanDuel weekly NFL leagues.

Each week here at RotoBaller, we provide the subscribers of our DFS Lineup Picks of the Week Newsletter with some of the highest quality advice for salary cap fantasy football on FanDuel.  We also have lots of great FanDuel analysis weekly, so be sure to check back.

Why We Love Weekly FanDuel Football

Are you looking for some more fantasy football action, and want to get involved in weekly DFS games on FanDuel? I know I am. Are you one of those people whose fantasy football team is sporting a lackluster record through the first five weeks of the 2014 NFL season? Are you not that happy with the team you drafted this year in fantasy football? Maybe you are a frustrated AP, Mathews, Ball, Gerhart, Megatron, Green or Cruz owner (just to mention a few disappointments). Well we have the perfect remedy for your fantasy football appetite.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge is back with a massive $500,000 grand prize and $1.35 million total prize pool, paying down to 800th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 10 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The 7,250 entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 10th at 4:30 pm ET . Don't wait - get your team now and end your fantasy football season with a shot at $500,000! Sign Up Now!

The weekly format of FanDuel fantasy football is just what the doctor ordered. Draft a new team each week, and battle it out against your friends or as many opponents as you please on FanDuel. It's my favorite way to supplement my fantasy football teams, and plug-and-play guys that I wish I owned in my leagues on a weekly basis. After all there's nothing like owning DeMarco or Peyton for one week, when you missed out on them in all of your season-long fantasy football leagues.

Looking for An Edge?

If you play salary cap leagues on FanDuel, then our expert picks can give you the edge you need to win. Each week we analyze the player matchups, and the associated pricing on FanDuel, to identify the sleepers and value picks to put together a winning lineup. With each newsletter, you will receive our well-researched weekly picks for each position, with both a “Strong Play” and a “Value Play”, and we will also include two or three budget buster tournament plays for each position. All in all, you will be receiving a minimum of 12 of our expertly hand-picked recommendations for your gaming pleasure!

We’ve reprinted some of RotoBaller’s lineup picks from last week’s subscribers-only exclusive newsletter to give you an idea of the FanDuel analysis that we put forward each and every week. As you can see below, our experts had some sweet recommendations for Week 6 lineups, so hopefully you got in on the action! And if not, no worries, there’s still plenty of time for Week 7 and beyond.

A Recap of Some DFS Lineup Picks from Week 6

QB (Value) - Jay Cutler ($8,000) - Next in line for a big day is Matty Ice's opponent this week, Jay Cutler. Coming into Week 6 as the 6th best DFS quarterback based on weekly scoring averages, he certainly passes the eyeball test as well since he's become proficient at getting the pigskin to his various #1 offensive options. Throw in these two team's horrific pass defenses, and the ridiculous projected Vegas totals, and we are in line for a good old fashioned air show in the friendly indoor confines of Atlanta.

Result: 381 passing yard, 4 rushing yards, 1 TD - BULLSEYE

WR (Strong) - Alshon Jeffery ($7,700) - The overpriced #1 wide receiver option for Week 6 that is guaranteed to go bonkers is Demaryius Thomas at the Jets, but the #1 undervalued option for this week is once again Alshon Jeffery. We wouldn't be upset if you started off your lineup by pairing up the Bears #1A wideout with his favorite guy Jay Cutler. In a game that is bound to be a shootout due to high powered offenses going up against exceedingly bad pass defenses, Alshon is sure to be a spectacular beneficiary of Brandon Marshall playing at way less than 100%, but still drawing #1 cornerback coverage.

Result: 5 receptions, 136 receiving yards - BULLSEYE

RB (Strong) - Le'Veon Bell ($8,600) - Two weeks in a row and for good reason. Aside from the fact he averages 17.4 FandDuel points per week, he also gets the sloppy Browns run defense that allows 5.1 yards per attempt to opposing backs. This is another great opportunity to use our severely undervalued #1 projected running back for Week 6, so don't hesitate to spend the big bucks and pair him with one of the super cheap wide receiver options above.

Result: 82 rushing yards, 4 receptions, 23 receiving yards - HIT

RB (Budget Buster) - Branden Oliver ($6,200) - We all saw what the Darren Sproles look-alike did in Week 5 to the putrid Jets defense, and he is still the Chargers #1 running back option heading into Week 6's showdown with the league worst Raiders run defense. Allowing 158.3 yards per games to opposing rushing attacks, they also allow a healthy 4.3 yards per attempt and aren't improving anytime soon against this very balanced Chargers offense that is sure to keep them on their toes at Oakland in Week 6.

Result: 101 rushing yards, 4 receptions, 23 receiving yards, 1 TD - BULLSEYE

Baltimore Ravens - ($5,000) - We don't usually do this, but we simply couldn't resist with this tantalizing matchup on paper. What we essentially have here in Week 6 is a David & Goliath style battle between the Ravens top-rated defensive unit and the Buccaneers putrid offensive unit. Now this is never a guarantee, but based on our exhausting research and analysis, we project the Ravens to be a top 5 scoring defense in Week 6, so give them a go if you need to save a few shekels.

Result: 1 interception, 5 sacks, 17 points allowed - HIT
