FanDuel Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Picks (Week 2): NFL DFS Advice

Welcome to RotoBaller's daily fantasy football FanDuel lineup picks for Week 2 of the NFL season. In this article, I, Justin Bales, will be taking you, the reader, through the best FanDuel DFS plays of the week for this upcoming Sunday.

These FanDuel lineup recommendations are based on matchups, recent performances, overall upside/talent levels, and other factors such as Vegas odds, home field advantage, and more. Good luck with your FanDuel DFS lineups!

Editor's Note: If you like FanDuel, be sure to also check out FantasyAces. New users that sign up on Fantasy Aces and make a $20 deposit will receive RotoBaller's full season NFL Premium Pass for free (including Premium DFS), normally a $59.99 value. FanDuel Quarterback - Week 2 DFS Picks

Eli Manning (vs NO, $8,100)

Manning had a good game against the Cowboys last week, and he's primed for an even better game this week. The Giants are going to get into a shootout with the Saints, who should have no problem putting points on the board. The Giants will be throwing early and often, and they will likely be working to get OBJ more involved. That's never a bad thing for Manning, as Beckham has the ability to score from anywhere on the field. The Giants are also -4 point favorites in a game with an over/under set at 51.5 points. Manning is an elite option this week.

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 2 DFS Picks

Danny Woodhead (vs JAC, $6,400)

Woodhead continues to be an underutilized player in fantasy football. He's a huge part of the Chargers offense, as he totaled 21 touches last week and played the majority of the Chargers snaps. Melvin Gordon took away a couple touchdowns, but Woodhead was still able to find the end zone. He gets a matchup against the Jaguars, and Woodhead will continue to play a big role for the Chargers. It's tough to believe his price tag will stay this low for long, so take advantage of it before it goes up.

T.J. Yeldon (at SD, $6,500)

Yeldon struggled last week, but he was able to catch a few balls and find the end zone. He gets a much easier matchup this week against the Chargers, who were torched by Spencer Ware last week. Chris Ivory was recently released from the hospital, but it's hard to imagine that he's going to play a big role if he is even able to suit up. Yeldon can score fantasy points in multiple different ways, and he's still cheap. Take advantage of his current role, as he won't be a great fantasy option as soon as Ivory is fully healthy.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 2 DFS Picks

Alshon Jeffery (vs PHI, $7,800)

Jeffery wasn't as big of a target Week 1 as many people were expecting, but he was still able to top 100 receiving yards in that game. He gets a much easier matchup against the Eagles this week, and they displayed a few holes in their secondary against the Browns last week. The Bears should make a point to get Jeffery more targets, and he is a huge red zone target, as well. He has elite upside, but doesn't come with the price tag of some of the other top options. He can safely be used in all leagues.

Michael Crabtree (vs ATL, $6,200)

Crabtree is a sneaky option this week. He flew under the radar a bit last week, but he saw nine targets and was extremely efficient with them. The Falcons will likely shadow Amari Cooper with Desmond Trufant, which leaves Robert Alford and company trying to cover Crabtree. Crabtree displayed elite upside at times last season, and the Raiders should be able to score quite a bit this week, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Crabtree grab his first touchdown of the season.

FanDuel Tight End - Week 2 DFS Picks

Gary Barnidge (vs BAL, $6,000)

Barnidge is coming off a terrible game, in which he saw two targets and didn't record a single reception. Luckily for him, RG3 was injured late in the game, and Josh McCown will draw the start this week. McCown and Barnidge had a great connection last season, and he will be able to get back on track this week. People may overlook Barnidge because of his week one results, but that's a mistake, as he will likely return to Pro Bowl form with McCown leading the offense.
