Tom Vecchio highlights the top FanDuel NFL DFS lineup picks for Week 7, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

RotoBallers, welcome to Week 7 of the daily fantasy football season. In this column, you will find my recommended FanDuel DFS Lineup Picks to target for Week 7 of the NFL season. You can also click here to find more DFS analysis articles and tools.

The goal is to identify players to start on FanDuel this week based on various factors including the opponent, the player's opportunity, analysis of the game's matchups, and the FanDuel price.

Let's find some DFS lineup sleepers, and win on FanDuel. Good luck in Week 7! Find me @DFS_Tom if you have any questions.

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 7 DFS Picks

Carson Wentz - QB, PHI vs CAR (FD - $7,600)

Wentz and the Eagles are facing off against the Panthers in a game with an over-under set at 45.5, so we should be in for plenty of points here, meaning solid fantasy value. Wentz has multiple touchdowns in each of his last three games while passing for over 300 yards in two of those games. The Panthers come in with the 21st DVOA vs the pass, so he should be in a spot where he can move the ball up and down the field. Wentz hasn't shown a ton of rushing upside as he had last season, but its always there and can provide a slight boost of points. He is viable in all formats this week and should be lower owned in tournaments.

Kirk Cousins - QB, MIN @ NYJ (FD - $8,00)

Each week has gone by and each week I've rostered Cousins in GPPs across the industry and he continues to come in too low. He is attempting 43 passes per game and has 296 yards or more in four of his six games this season. If he has the best receiver in the league with Adam Thielen, why do many DFS players continue to pass on him? That needs to stop here and you should be loading him up in tournaments. His price is a bit tough to get to in cash games, so stack him with Thielen, Stefon Diggs or Kyle Rudolph and you should be looking great in GPPs.

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 7 DFS Picks

Ezekiel Elliott - RB, DAL @ WAS (FD - $8,400)

Zeke and the Cowboys are on the road against their division rivals, the Washington Redskins, in what should be a lower scoring game. Generally, you want to target players in high scoring close games, since the opportunity for points is greater, but this case is different. Zeke is playing on 88% of the snaps and has 70% of teams rushes this season. We could be looking at a slow, tough, grind it out game, as we would expect from a divisional game. This means all of the carries will flow to Zeke since the Cowboys passing game is insanely inefficient. You can expect 20+ total touches from him yet again this week.

James White - RB, NE @ CHI (FD - $7,300)

White is more of the passing down back for the Patriots, while Michel is the rushing back, so we are dealing with a split workload. This game has an over-under set at 49.5 with the Patriots only favored by three points on the road. This is conducive for a shootout, meaning we should be seeing more of White instead of Michel. White has seven or more targets in three straight games, with 10 or more in two of these three games. Love the value he brings but is more of a GPP option compared to cash games.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 7 DFS Picks

Jarvis Landry - WR, CLE @ TB (FD - $6,500)

If you are playing one lineup or 100 lineups, you want exposure to this game and Landry is a perfect option. We have an over-under set at 50.5 and this will be the chalk DFS game of the week. When the Browns line up in three wide receiver sets, Landry will be in the slot and will be covered by M.J. Stewart, who is giving up 0.82 fantasy points per route run this season, aka he is not a good cornerback. Landry will feast in this matchup and should continue to get his 10 or more targets as he has had in four straight games.

Brandin Cooks - WR, LAR @ SF (FD - $7,500)

Cooks should in line for some extra usage in the offense with Cooper Kupp out due to an injury. The Rams have always been good at spreading the ball around to their receivers and we will continue to see that, but Cooks has shown to be the deep ball threat for Jared Goff. Cooks has a 34% market share of the team's air yards, which shows the potential upside he has. The matchup for him is great, as he is up against the 49ers, who have the 26th DVOA vs the pass.

FanDuel Tight End - Week 7 DFS Pick

George Kittle - TE, SF vs LAR (FD - $6,400)

If the 49ers are going to be trailing in this game, at least according to Vegas, then passing the ball will be required to catch up. Kittle has six or more targets in five of his six games this season and has four or more receptions in all but one game. The Rams have the 12th DVOA versus tight ends this season, which is a bit inflated, as we've seen them get torched by tight ends at times this season.

FanDuel Defense - Week 7 DFS Pick

Detroit Lions at Miami Dolphins - D, (FD - $3,800)

As always at defense, spending down is the way to go, since the range of outcomes is rather large. What you want to look for is pressure on the QB, since that will lead to sacks and potentially turnovers, which is where the points really come from. They have seven sacks in their last two games and will now be facing off against the always turnover prone Brock Osweiler.
