FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 16 DFS Picks

Baker Mayfield - QB, CLE vs CIN (FD - $7,700)

Mayfield has posted multiple touchdowns in six of his last eight games, along with attempting 30 or more passes in five of those games, showing the ball is in his hands plenty each and every week. There is a bit of narrative street going on in this game, as he is up against his former coach Hue Jackson, who is now on the Bengals coaching staff. The last time he played the Bengals he posted four touchdowns, which shouldn't come as a surprise since they have the 26th DVOA versus the pass this season. He is cash game viable this week, as the Browns have an implied team total set at 26, which is seventh highest on the entire week.

Taylor Heinicke - QB, CAR vs ATL (FD - $6,000)

If no one else wants to say it this week, then I'll be willing to, Heinicke is in play for DFS against the Falcons. Yes, a backup quarterback with only four passing attempts this season is a viable option for a few reasons. Number one, he is the absolute minimum salary on FanDuel this week, which opens up a ton in terms of roster construction and jamming in the top running backs and wide receivers. Number two, he is up against the Falcons, who are giving up 21.2 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season, which is second worst in the league. Don't have heavy exposure to him, but he makes an interesting salary saver this week.

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 16 DFS Picks

Dalvin Cook - RB, MIN @ DET (FD - $7,100)

Cook is looking as healthy as ever and coming off a monster game where he posted 136 yards and two touchdowns. He is in a spot to continue that level of production since he is facing off against the Lions, who have the 17th DVOA versus the rush and are allowing 25.7 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. The Vikings are in a spot where they need to be winning games to secure their playoff spot, so Cook should see plenty of touches against this soft Detroit defense.

Alvin Kamara - RB, NO vs PIT (FD - $8,100)

The Saints are finally back at home and on the main slate, so we are able to get exposure to their offense, who come in with an implied team total set at 29, which is highest on the entire week. It's been a few weeks since we've been able to roster some Saints' players, so let's get Kamara into our lineups. He hasn't posted a massive game in a few weeks, but the Saints are looking to lock up the number one seed in the NFC and have a solid chance to do so against a Steelers team who is primed for a letdown game and come in with the 21st DVOA versus the pass. Perfect spot to attack them is with Kamara through the passing game, a spot where he has excelled all season.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 16 DFS Picks

DeAndre Hopkins - WR, HOU @ PHI (FD - $8,900)

Hopkins might be the best high-dollar player on the slate this week and you should be doing whatever you can to get him into as many lineups as possible. He will be facing off against the Eagles, who are giving up 42.3 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season, which is second worst in the entire league. He comes in with double-digit targets in three straight games, two of those games over 90 yards, and three touchdowns in this span. The Texans are looking to lock up the number two seed in the AFC and this is a winnable game for them on the road in Philly.

Robby Anderson - WR, NYJ vs GB (FD - $5,900)

Anderson is on the cheaper side of things this week and should be viable in all formats considering some of his recent production and the favorable matchup he has in front of him. Anderson has seven or more targets in six of his last seven games and comes in with a two-game touchdown streak. He is facing off against the Packers who have the 24th DVOA versus the pass, which should play into his favor with his 15.62 aDOT this season, showing he is getting the ball downfield and always a threat for a big play.

FanDuel Tight End - Week 16 DFS Pick

Eric Ebron - TE, IND vs NYG (FD - $6,100)

Ebron has been a popular option over the past few weeks and while no one is truly happy about that, it makes sense with the volume he is seeing. Ebron comes in with seven or more targets in three of his last four games and holds a 17% market share of targets, which is second highest on the team, only behind T.Y. Hilton. Ebron has shown to be a favorite target for Luck, which should make him a popular stacking option this week against a bad Giants secondary.

FanDuel Defense - Week 16 DFS Pick

Dallas Cowboys Defense versus Tampa Bay Buccaneers (FD - $3,700)

The Cowboys are coming off a rough road loss to the Colts, but now back at home and should be able to put up a good showing this week. They are up against Jameis Winston and the Buccaneers, who has thrown 10 interceptions in his five road games this season. We could be in for much of the same this week, since the Cowboys are generating plenty of pressure on quarterbacks, with multiple sacks in six of their last seven games.
