FanDuel NFL DFS Lineup Picks (Week 14): Daily Fantasy Football Advice

RotoBallers, welcome to Week 14 of the daily fantasy football season. In this column, you will find my recommended FanDuel DFS Lineup Picks to target for Week 14 of the NFL season. You can also click here to find more DFS analysis articles and tools.

The goal is to identify players to start on FanDuel this week based on various factors including the opponent, the player's opportunity, analysis of the game's matchups, and the FanDuel price.

Let's find some DFS lineup sleepers, and win on FanDuel. Good luck in Week 13! Find me @DFS_Tom if you have any questions.

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 14 DFS Picks

Philip Rivers - QB, LAC vs CIN (FD - $8,300)

Rivers and the Chargers come in as -14 home favorites against the Bengals, who have the 27th DVOA versus the pass and the 28th DVOA this season. This is the ideal matchup for Rivers and the passing game, who should be able to push the pace and post several touchdowns in this game. It should be noted, that there is a bit of blowout potential here, which can limit the upside in this game, but fully expect Rivers to post multiple touchdowns and then ease off a bit.

Andrew Luck - QB, IND @ HOU (FD - $7,900)

Luck and the Colts are coming off a very rough game and now find themselves in a very tough, but an important game against the Texans. This matchup is tough because of the Texans having the 15th DVOA versus the pass and for the fact they've allowed only multiple passing touchdowns one time in their past four games. At his price, Luck makes a better GPP option, since you want to capture potential lower ownership, along with the fact he posted four touchdowns against the Texans earlier this season.

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 14 DFS Picks

Jaylen Samuels - RB, PIT @ OAK (FD - $4,600)

Samuels is going to be very popular this week since he will draw the starting job versus the Raiders since James Conner is out with an injury. He is very cheap this week and should be able to reach value easily against the Raiders who have the 31st DVOA versus the rush and the 19th DVOA versus running backs in the passing game. The Steelers come in with an implied team total sitting at 31 which is second highest on the slate, so the fantasy point expectation for their players is massive this week.

Mark Ingram - RB, NO @ TB (FD - $6,600)

Ingram and the Saints come in with the highest implied team total set at 31.8 this week since they are up against the Buccaneers, who are 30th DVOA versus the rush and 23rd DVOA versus running backs in the passing game. We do have some weather concerns here, but I'm no meteorologist, so we're going to assume this game has fine conditions. We know that Ingram is splitting time with Kamara in the backfield, which only has Ingram playing on about 40% of the snaps. His volume should be solid in that time, with double-digit carries in three of his last four games.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 14 DFS Picks

Davante Adams - WR, GB vs ATL (FD - $8,700)

Adams is not only one of the most consistent wide receivers in the league, but one of the top options on this slate and should be a fantastic option in tournaments this week. He has over 100 yards or a touchdown in 11 of 12 games this season. That level of production is nearly unmatched and with the matchup, you should be very interested in having a ton of him in your lineups. They are up against the Falcons who are second to last in the versus the pass, making this

Adam Humphries - WR, TB vs NO (FD - $6,500)

Humphries is going to make a popular mid-range option at wide receiver this week since the Buccaneers are set to be in a shootout with the Saints, as the over-under is set at 55.5. Humphries is cementing himself as the number two receiver for Tampa, as he has six or more targets in five of his last seven games, with five touchdowns in that span. Great option for cash games due to his consistency and the favorable matchup versus the Saints secondary, who are 22nd against the pass.

FanDuel Tight End - Week 14 DFS Pick

Jared Cook - TE, OAK vs PIT (FD - $6,300)

Cook has touchdowns in three straight weeks and while it isn't great to be chasing the TDs, you should be more interested in the fact he has five or more targets in four straight games. We know that the Raiders are dealing with a number of injuries in their receiving core, which should only benefit Cook and his role in the passing game. He is up against the Steelers, who are 28th DVOA versus tight ends.

FanDuel Defense - Week 14 DFS Pick

Arizona Cardinals vs Detroit Lions (FD - $3,700)

The Cardinals are at home and facing off against the Lions in a game where the over-under is set at only 40.5, making it the second lowest on the slate. This is the ideal spot to target a defense since the expectation for points is far less than any other game. You should also be interested in the Cardinals defense since they have four or more sacks in four of their past five games and will be facing off against a Lions offensive line who have an adjusted sack rate sitting at 7.5%. Pressure on the QB leads to potential turnovers, which can lead to touchdowns.
