FanDuel NBA DFS Picks for Today (Wednesday 4/2/25): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Nikola Jokic - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

Koby's favorite FanDuel NBA DFS picks for today, Wednesday 4/2/25. His top daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for FanDuel DFS contests.

Happy Wednesday, RotoBallers! Welcome back to the daily grind of last-minute injury news and rest days as we near the end of the regular season. Staying on top of the news is necessary at this point of the season, as anything can happen, and we must be ready to make quick, last-second decisions.

Names like Jalen Brunson, John Collins, and Andrew Wiggins are out, and we also have names such as Cade Cunningham, Anthony Davis, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jamal Murray, Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, and Walker Kessler that are all questionable. Keep your eyes glued to updates as tip-off approaches, as these potential late scratches could flip the script.

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/2/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. EST on FanDuel.

FanDuel NBA DFS Core Picks

These are the guys I’m locking into my FanDuel first and foremost and those I start with in cash games.

Nikola Jokic - DEN - C ($12.8K)

Nikola Jokic is on another level, and it's too bad that Russell Westbrook threw the game away last night because Jokic just had an absolute masterclass with a 61-point triple-double. He has put up 50+ FP in nine straight games and 90+ in two! San Antonio makes for a blowout chance, but with Denver coming off a back-to-back, it might make for a closer game than we expect.

San Antonio has also given up the seventh most fantasy points to opposing centers this season. Surprisingly, this game has the second-closest spread, which could make it interesting.

Domantas Sabonis - SAC - PF/C ($9.7K)

Domantas Sabonis is in the perfect position for a big game. The only thing stopping him is the potential blowout. The Kings are big 12.5-point favorites, but I can't ignore how good of a matchup this is. The Wizards give up the most fantasy points to opposing PF/C's this season, which should allow Sabonis to have a massive game in a must-win game with Portland and Phoenix close to them in the standings.

Sabonis has 35+ in five straight games in a much more difficult matchup, and now with this matchup, I could see something in the 50+ range for tonight.

Keyonte George - UTA - PG/SG ($6.2K)

Choosing between Keyonte George and Isaiah Collier is tough, but I like George a little more for his floor. With all the injuries in the Utah camp, they are limited on who they can use. Keyonte sees over a 6% usage increase with all their injuries off the floor. Collier sees a roughly 3% increase and has a higher ceiling, but I would use him more in GPP tournaments.

With Collin Sexton out of the last game, Keyonte finished with 32 FP in 31 minutes against Charlotte. Even if this game blows out, the Jazz are so shorthanded that we should continue to see big minutes from either one of these games.

Also Consider: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (11.6K), Jalen Green (7.7K), Miles Bridges (8.4K)

FanDuel NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

These are the guys who may not garner as much ownership but make for great tournament plays.

Jayson Tatum - PHO - PF/SF ($10.4K)

Tatum might be a little chalky depending on the severity of the injury report this afternoon, but either way, I'm gonna be playing Tatum. The more players that get ruled out tomorrow, the better that is for Tatum. It will only increase his usage, as seen in his game against Portland, where they had many players out for that one. Tatum finished with 60 FP, and in a big rivalry game like this one, Tatum should be in for a big one here.

Dyson Daniels - ATL - PG/SG ($8.1K)

This is one of the few games on the slate that doesn't have a large spread, which is good for us as it should result in a back-and-forth battle. Dyson has been elite and is coming off a five-stock game against Portland last night. His ability to be a menace on defense is huge for us, as he has been getting it done on both sides of the ball. I love Dyson, as he has a solid floor and won't kill us in a lackluster game but has big boom potential.

Christian Braun - DEN - SG/SF ($6.7K)

Christian Braun could be once again in for a bigger role, as Murray could be out for this one again. Braun played all but five minutes in their double-OT loss and was a big part of how close the game was. He finished with 45 FP and has done that twice in the last four games. Westbrook will garner a lot of the ownership, but I trust the shooting of Braun more than I do Westbrook.

Also Consider: Tyler Herro (8.8K), DeMar DeRozan (7.6K), Trae Young (9.6K)

FanDuel NBA DFS Value Picks

These sub-$6,000 options are perfect for rounding out your roster.

Pelle Larsson - MIA - SG ($4.6K)

Pelle Larsson is the biggest beneficiary of  Wiggins and Duncan Robinson's absence from this game. He has seen 30 minutes in back-to-back games and 32 and 44 FP in that same period. It's a tough matchup, but he should continue to see consistent minutes with those two remaining out. At his price, that is good for over 7x his price, which is solid value on this slate.

Oscar Tshiebwe- UTA - C ($4.5K)

Oscar has seen a significant impact since joining the roster from the G-League. In the last two games, he played 25 minutes and saw 22+ FP in those two games. Kyle Filipkowski has seen the majority of the work in the starting unit, but Tshiebwe is getting a lot of bench minutes, and at his price, he doesn't need much to make value. If Walker Kessler is back in the lineup, however, then avoid Oscar, as he will likely not see minutes if that is the case.

Keion Brooks - NOP - SG ($4.1K)

The safer play is to go and grab Bruce Brown, as his minutes are guaranteed. Keion Brooks, however, makes for an interesting GPP play. At his price, he doesn't need much to make value. With New Orleans shutting down many players, the Pelicans are looking to the depths of their lineup to play big minutes.

Keion is coming off a career-high game, where he played 26 minutes and finished with 43 FP in Jordan Hawkins's absence. That is worth 10x his price, but I don't expect him to replicate that here. Yet, he should be able to take advantage of the extended playing time and make his price worth the risk.

Luke Kornet- BOS - C (4.7K)

Luke should benefit from a depleted frontcourt in Boston. Al Horford is doubtful, and if Kristaps Porzingis is out with an illness, then Kornet should dominate the minutes at Center. In the last game, Horford was out. Kornet played 31 minutes and finished with 43 FP. It was a plus matchup for him there, but he should still see decent usage in this spot, resulting in a solid value play.

Also Consider: Obi Toppin (4.9K), Bruce Brown (5.5K), Delon Wright (5.1K), Davion Mitchell (4.8K)
