FanDuel NBA DFS Picks for Today (Thursday, 3/27/25): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Jarrett Allen - Fantasy Basketball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Koby's favorite FanDuel NBA DFS picks for today, Thursday -- 3/27/25. His top daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for FanDuel DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers. We have a solid eight-game slate ahead of us. Only a couple of teams on this slate are tanking, which is good for us, as we want to avoid the inconsistencies of some of these teams to the best of our ability. We have a few injured or questionable guys to keep an eye on, including Anthony Davis, Josh Giddey, Amen Thompson, Jalen Williams, Malik Monk, Nikola Vucevic, Toumani Camara, and Brandon Williams.

I always make it a point to recommend some higher-priced players for cash games and GPPs while highlighting some of my favorite value plays and game stacks. If you want DraftKings picks, see who Dan Palyo likes by reading his piece here.

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/27/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. EDT on FanDuel.

FanDuel NBA DFS Core Picks

Jarrett Allen, CLE - C ($7.4K)

With Evan Mobley out, Allen becomes an immediate top play. The Spurs bleed FP to opposing centers, giving up the seventh most across the last 15 games. On top of that, Allen becomes a different player when Mobley is out. He has finished with 40 and 55 FP in the last two games without Mobley.

Jalen Green, HOU - SG ($7.6K)

Amen Thompson may be out, which should only increase Green's usage. The only reason to avoid this game is the possible blowout with the lengthy spread of 12.5 points and Utah's evident tanking. Green has had 40+ in six of his last nine games and gets the best matchup as the Jazz give up the most FP to opposing SGs this season.

Deni Avdija, POR - SF/PF ($8.2K)

Deni Avdija is carrying this Portland team on his back, and it is going to need his aggressiveness big time in this one. This game has big play-in implications, with both teams fighting for one of those final spots. Avdija has averaged a double-double across the last eight games, including three games of 60+ FP performances.

Others Under Consideration: Luka Doncic - PG ($11.6K), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - PG ($11.4K), Tari Eason- SF/PF ($6.2K)

FanDuel NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

Anthony Davis, DAL - PF/C ($10.4K)

Davis is questionable for this one, but if he is active, he becomes an immediate top play on this slate. He only played 26 minutes in his first game back but I expect that number to increase as he becomes more and more conditioned. It is a tough matchup but with P.J. Washington out for this one, Davis should remain the focal point of this offense.

Coby White, CHI - PG ($8.2K)

Tre Jones is out, and Josh Giddey is bordering on being out as well. This leads to Coby White having the full ball-handling duties in his hands, and he should be the primary scorer as well. He just finished with 45 FP in the last game against the Lakers, and that was with Giddey; either way, White makes for a solid tournament play.

Andrew Wiggins, MIA - SF/PF ($7.2K)

Wiggins has been lighting it up for Miami in recent games and now gets a great matchup against Atlanta, which is giving up the sixth-most fantasy points to SFs across the last 15 games. Wiggins has finished with 30+ FP in all but three games since joining the Heat.

Others Under Consideration: Alperen Sengun - C ($9K), Franz Wagner- SF/PF ($8.5K), DeMar DeRozan- SF/PF ($7.5K), Naji Marshall - SF/PF ($7.4K)

FanDuel NBA DFS Value Picks

Keon Ellis, SAC – PG ($5.4K)

If Malik Monk remains out for his fourth straight game, then Keon Ellis should resume his role in the starting unit, where he has finished with 38, 25, and 36 FP.

Matas Buzelis, CHI - SF/PF ($5.3K)

With Tre Jones out, Buzelis has seen an increase in minutes. If Giddey is out, then Buzelis should not only see an increase in minutes, but he should also see his usage spike. He has had 36 and 26 FP in the two games that Jones has been out.

Anthony Black, ORL - PG ($4.9K)

Anthony Black seems to be taking advantage of Cole Anthony's extended time off with his strained toe. He has had 35 and 37 FP in his last two games, and if Orlando continues to push him in the offense, we could continue to see him play well while Anthony is down.

Davion Mitchell, MIA – PG ($4.4K)

Davion Mitchell, although still extremely cheap, has 30+ minutes in five straight games, which has resulted in three games of 30+ FP. That is good for just over seven times his price, which makes extremely good value.

Rui Hachimura, LAL - SF/PF ($4.8K)

It's risky, but Hachimura is seeing more and more minutes and just re-entered the starting lineup. He's up to 27 minutes, and at this price, he has plenty of upside to make it worth it in tournament lineups.

Others Under Consideration: Dillon Brooks- SG ($4.9K), AJ Johnson - SG ($4.8K), Kai Jones (if no AD) - C ($5.2K), Matisse Thybulle- SF ($4K)
