FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (4/21/17): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Demetri Raftopoulos highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 4/21/17, as well as a couple of sleepers to keep in mind while building your roster.

Let's just automatically assume that Russell Westbrook and James Harden are must-picks tonight, despite their high price tags. With only three games on Friday night's slate, how do we avoid them?

Here is how we can afford them.

In this article, I will be providing you with daily NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/21/17. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays. Shall we dance?

FanDuel DFS Guards

George Hill - PG, vs LAC ($5,600)

It's been nothing but consistency thus far in the playoffs for Utah's starting point guard. Overshadowed by the defensive mindset of the Jazz, George Hill has logged 37 minutes in each of the first two games of the series, scoring double-digits in both. The series now shifts to Utah tied at one game a piece. Look for Hill to continue his consistency while tacking on a healthy amount of rebounds and assists as well.

Also Consider: Patrick Beverly - PG, @ OKC ($6,100)

J.J. Redick - SG, @ UTA ($3,800)

This is the game J.J. Redick bounces back. You heard it here. After being held to an uncharacteristic four points and seven points in Game's 1 and 2, Redick heads to Utah for Game 3, with a chance to redeem his his slow start to the 2017 playoffs. Redick only logged seven shot attempts in Game 2 and a measly six in Game 1, which also seem likely to change as well. There's a reason why Redick averaged 15 points per game during the regular season. Expect a total close to that average tonight.

Also Consider: Lou Williams - SG, @ OKC ($4,900)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Andre Roberson - SF, vs HOU ($5,200)

Andre Roberson has had one heck of a start to the 2017 postseason, and will need to continue his production in order for the Oklahoma City Thunder to climb back into this series. Russell Westbrook and James Harden have certainly been the talk of this series, overshadowing Roberson's consistency through the first two games. Roberson has dropped 12 and 18 points, including eight rebounds in each, two steals in each, with an average of 2.5 blocks. He has done it all. His 18 points in Game 1 were accompanied by four three pointers, both career playoff highs. He'll continue to carry the task of defending The Beard, so expect his minutes to remain around or over 35.

Also Consider: Jimmy Butler - SF, vs BOS ($11,200)

Derrick Favors - PF, vs LAC ($6,100)

Derrick Favors, like Hill, has been very consistent in the early going of Utah's series with the Los Angeles Clippers. Favors has averaged 14 points, 6.5 rebounds and one block over an average of 32.5 minutes during the first two contests. I like his minute totals a lot here, as they should continue to rise in what should continue to be a competitive series throughout. Favors has not played close to 30 minutes since the beginning of March. With Rudy Gobert expected to miss Game 3, look for another impressive performance from Favors. He looks healthy and ready.

Also Consider: Nikola Mirotic - PF, vs BOS ($6,500)

FanDuel DFS Centers

DeAndre Jordan - C, @ UTA ($8,600)

Now it is time to finally spend up a bit. With Gobert not expected to play Friday night, we can look for another solid performance from DeAndre Jordan. Jordan has posted two straight double-doubles, both complemented by 15 rebounds, and a total of four blocks. Jordan is the best option at the center position,  and is a no-brainer for tournaments and head-to-head's, especially with his price listed below $9,000. These games don't need to be high scoring for Jordan to produce well into the 30 fantasy point range for the third consecutive contest.

Also Consider: Robin Lopez - C, vs BOS ($6,100)
