FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (4/13/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Justin Carter highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 4/13/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

It's playoff time! The NBA's postseason starts today, and we've got a full four-game slate on the docket, with Nets/Sixers, Magic/Raptors, Clippers/Warriors, and Spurs/Nuggets. Who should make their way into your DFS lineup?

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/13/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Remember to check your lineups before tipoff for injury updates.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Spencer Dinwiddie - PG, BKN @ PHI (FD - $4,900)

Dinwiddie had a pair of 30-point games this season against the Sixers, and while they did a better job against him the last time the teams met, quick guards like Dinwiddie who can shoot and drive are a thorn in the Sixers' side this season. And with Joel Embiid (knee) doubtful, there won't be much of an interior presence for the Sixers to help cut off Dinwiddie's drives or offer some resistance around the bucket, so this could be a big afternoon for him. And don't let his role off the bench scare you, either -- yes, benches shorten in the playoffs and starters play more, but Dinwiddie is basically a starter in terms of his minutes, so expect him on the floor a ton.

Lou Williams - SG, LAC @ GSW (FD - $6,700)

Speaking of high-scoring bench options, did you know that Lou Williams has had his two best seasons by points per game in his two years with the Clippers? The always deadly Williams has gotten more deadly with the Clippers, and since March 1st, Williams is averaging 20.2 points and 5.2 assists per game. In three games against the Warriors, he's scored 25 points twice and he's had at least five assists in all of those appearances.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Will Barton - SF, DEN vs SAS (FD - $8,500)

If you're looking for a cheaper option to help you build your lineups, Denver small forward Will Barton is intriguing. He's had a lot of ups and downs lately, but he's a solid rebounder who's capable of giving you low double-digit scoring outputs and has the chance to get some blocks or steals while also shooting well...usually. Be warned: If the bad version of Will Barton appears, you're not going to be happy with this pick, but if he can just provide you solid, low-cost fantasy points to put in around your other options, you'll be fine.

LaMarcus Aldridge - PF, SAS @ DEN (FD - $7,400)

As the season winded down, Aldridge really showed himself to be capable of putting up good scoring numbers and rebounding the ball well, and his ability to go off for a 30 and 15 game is huge. I'm also expecting that Jakob Poeltl won't be a huge part of the playoff rotation, leaving Aldridge to play the five more and potentially get matched up with Nikola Jokic, who's not known for his defense. Aldridge has scored at least 20 points in three of the four meetings between these teams.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Jarrett Allen - C, BKN @ PHI (FD - $6,000)

As I stated above, Joel Embiid is doubtful. If he doesn't play, I really like Allen. The Sixers center depth isn't great, and Allen's shown himself to be capable of scoring near the basket, rebounding, and blocking shots, especially against less difficult defenders. At a price that's $4,000 less than Nikola Jokic and $2,000 less than DeMarcus Cousins, who might not even be a big part of what the Warriors do, Allen feels like the best call here.
