FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/29/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Justin Bales highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 3/29/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

For whatever reason, the NBA featured a big slate on the same day as MLB's Opening Day, and now they're stuck with only six games on a Friday night. It's a bit odd, but there are still plenty of options to choose from.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/28/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Remember to check your lineups before tipoff for injury updates. If you have any questions, hit me up on Twitter - @BalesSJustin

FanDuel DFS Guards

Damian Lillard - PG, at ATL ($10,900)

Lillard is coming off of a bad game, but he's still averaging 26.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 11.0 assists, and 1.2 steals in 36.4 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Prior to that game, he had scored 59+ fantasy points in three of his last four games. Lillard comes with tremendous upside, as he owns an elite usage rating with C.J. McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic injured. He also gets an elite matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, who feature one of the worst defensive backcourts in the NBA. Lillard can be used in all leagues tonight.

Josh Okogie - SG, vs GS ($5,400)

Okogie is no longer a cheap option, but he has played 30+ minutes in each of his last five games. He had scored 30+ fantasy points in four of those games, struggling only against the Charlotte Hornets. Okogie gets a matchup against the Golden State Warriors, who will be looking to push the pace in this game. He will see extra opportunities for fantasy points, and he still comes with a reasonable price tag for his recent production. Okogie can be considered in all leagues.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Dwayne Bacon - SF, at LAL ($4,700)

Bacon has been playing bigger minutes recently, as he's averaging 33.7 minutes per game over his last three games. In those minutes, he's averaging 18.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.0 steal per game. Bacon has posted 24+ fantasy points in each of those games, while flashing 45 fantasy point upside. He still comes with a relatively low price tag, and there are only so many strong salary relief options tonight. Bacon can be considered in all leagues.

Frank Kaminsky - PF, at LAL ($4,900)

Kaminsky has seen inconsistent minutes recently, but he played 32 minutes in his last game. In that time, he scored 30 fantasy points, and that is the upside he comes with again tonight. He's expected to play minutes in the high-20s or low-30s tonight, and he gets an elite matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. Kaminsky isn't safe enough to be considered in cash games, but he makes a strong option in tournaments.

FanDuel DFS Centers

JaVale McGee - C, vs CHA ($8,000)

McGee has finally been unleashed, and he has looked outstanding in bigger minutes. He's averaging 18.4 points, 14.4 rebounds, and 3.8 blocks in 31.4 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has also scored between 38 and 75 fantasy points in each of his last four games. McGee gets a plus matchup against the Charlotte Hornets, who have struggled against bigs this season. He posted 19 points with 6 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 1 steal in only 17.5 minutes against them, and he's an elite tournament option tonight.
