FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/21/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

There are six games on tonight's slate, with three teams playing on the second night of a back-to-back. The Mavericks, Jazz, and Wizards all played yesterday, but only Washington went into overtime. The Jazz made light work of the Knicks and the only Mavericks player to play over 30 minutes was Justin Jackson. The Kings/Mavericks and Wizards/Nuggets have the highest projected point totals for tonight, but you need to keep a keen eye on the Warriors/Pacers and Pistons/Suns for value plays.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/21/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Remember to check your lineups before tipoff for injury updates.

Find me in the NBA Chat Room or @HalfCourtJester on Twitter if you have any questions. You might have a better chance finding me on Xbox playing Apex Legends, but don't hesitate to reach out so I can tell you not to fade Bradley Beal tonight.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Reggie Jackson - PG, DET @ PHO (FD - $5,500)

If you are going the route of Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and Devin Booker tonight, you will need some mid-range value to raise the floor and help boost those super-value picks you are going to have to roster. This has been a rough season for Reggie Jackson and the Detroit Pistons in general, but recently Jackson has been playing extremely well. He hasn't been posting season highs in scoring, but his consistency and usage are both going up. Jackson hasn't been able to string together many strong performances this season, but his is going up against the Suns so he'll produce just by default.

Tony Parker - PG, CHA vs MIN (FD - $3,500)

This is an ideal value play especially if Reggie Jackson wasn't your cup of sugar. Yes, Tony Parker might rest so you need to be aware of that before you hit submit, but every time he plays he produces. Since his price can't get much lower, he only needs to score 10 points to really exceed his value. He will do more than that because that's just how he plays, and even though Minnesota isn't dreadful against opposing point guards, if Parker plays I like his ability to play-make and score against the Timberwolves.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Mikal Bridges - SF, PHO vs. DET (FD - $4,900)

Unfortunately, Mikal Bridges usage has been pathetic lately. At this point in the season, you know what Bridges is doing every game and it's leading to a promising career...if only he can learn to shoot with some efficiency. Since there is no reason to really guard him at the perimeter, teams will let him shoot. Since he is already hesitant with his decision making, he misses opportunities up and down the floor. Even with that, he still manages to post medial stat lines. This sounds bad, but this consistency is actually a good thing.

Bridges plays better against teams that struggle defensively in their backcourt, but he doesn't play much against the truly bad teams in the league. The Pistons are one of those teams that struggle on defense, but can still score and Bridges minutes should be well above 30 tonight.

Dario Saric - PF, MIN @ CHA (FD - $4,000)

Not the biggest fan of playing Dario Saric because things can go from good to bad so quickly with him, but the Hornets are going to struggle with the rebounding power the Timberwolves have. Charlotte does have Marvin Williams and Jeremy Lamb, two athletic players that can rebound, but they will be facing the likes of Taj Gibson and Dario Saric's dedicated rebounding. That's not considering Karl-Anthony Towns attracting most of the defenses attention as it is, so Saric should easily be able to find close to 30 minutes tonight.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Thomas Bryant - C, WAS vs DEN (FD - $4,300)

There is a lot of risk here. It won't be too difficult for the Nuggets to shut down someone like Thomas Bryant, but at the same time he is the exact type of player that bumps and bruises his way around the paint and just creates his own production. Thinking of how Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap play defense, this could be a perfect matchup for both Jokic and Bryant. No one is stopping Jokic from doing his thing, but the same can be said about Bryant.

His size and positioning give him every advantage he needs and unless Millsap single-handedly takes on the task of keeping Bryant out of the paint, he should be in store for a fairly big game. The Nuggets should win this, but there something about Bradley Beal on the second night of a back-to-back that gives me hope for the Wizards.
