FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (2/14/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

It's time to get your NBA fix with the last big slate prior to the last All-Star Break lined up tonight. There doesn't appear to be a ton of injury news that will be coming throughout the day (there a few specific scenarios to watch listed below), but that can always rapidly change.

The way things look right now, I will be starting my lineups with Victor Oladipo, C.J. McCollum, and Tim Frazier. That leaves a good bit of cap room to fill in with studs and mid-priced options, many of which will be discussed in this article.

Below you will find our daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 2/14/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Tim Frazier - PG, @NY ($3,500)

While there is not yet official word on Tomas Satoransky’s status at the time of this article being published, it has been reported that he has not yet passed the second round of concussion protocol as of Tuesday night.  Given that, it seems unlikely that he will be able to play in Wednesday’s action. Frazier is battling an injury of his own but will seemingly be available to play. If both of those things remain true throughout the day, he should take on starters minutes at the bare minimum price, making him a prime punt play option.

Update: With Tim Frazier out, he is clearly no longer an option. Another punt play to consider is Malcolm Delaney given the news that Dennis Schroeder will not be playing on Wednesday.

Also Consider: Chris Paul - PG vs. SAC ($9,600)

Victor Oladipo - SG, @BKN ($10,200)

Oladipo’s price has risen to the level where it is safest to look elsewhere if you’re playing by the book. However, his recent run shows he is plenty capable of reaching value even at such a steep price, and he is in a great spot to do just that against one of the fastest paced teams in the league. In the absence of Darren Collison, Oladipo will also carry more assist upside as well, which was illustrated by his nine assist performance against the Knicks on Sunday. Even with a lot of star power on this crowded slate, Oladipo stands a reasonable chance of scoring the most points on the night.

C.J. McCollum - SG vs. GS ($6,900)

Unlike Oladipo, McCollum enters Wednesday at one of his lowest price points of the season. That is with good reason as his performances in February have been less than inspiring, as he has failed to top 32.6 FD points in six games. However, four of those games have come on the road where McCollum has been less effective this season. That won’t be the case on Wednesday night as the Blazers will host the Warriors, who have consistently struggled to guard opposing shooting guards this season. This is a get right spot for McCollum, who will likely see his price rise back to his normal levels after games resume post All-Star break.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Josh Richardson - SF @PHI ($6,700)

Richardson is coming off two bad games and will be on the back end of a back-to-back on Wednesday night. That said, it’d be pretty easy to write him off at his price. However, his past two opponents have been formidable matchups, as Toronto has been a tough matchup for wings throughout the season and Milwaukee has allowed only 28.5 FD points to opposing small forwards over their past five games. Meanwhile, the Sixers have allowed 45.5 FD points per game to opposing small forwards over their past five games and 47 over their past ten. Richardson has shown slate breaking potential plenty of times this season and despite bad surface level signs on Wednesday, he is in a prime position once again.

Nikola Mirotic - PF vs. LAL ($7,500)

Since getting acclimated to the Pelicans rotation, Mirotic has been more than comfortable getting his shot up as he has averaged 14 field-goal attempts per game. That alone gives him a solid floor, but he has also been plenty involved in other areas with three double-digit rebound performances as well as multiple blocks or steals on two occasions. It’s surprising his price has remained this low, but in a positive matchup against the Lakers there’s no reason not to take advantage.

Also Consider: Jarell Martin - PF vs. OKC ($3,700) (if JaMychal Green is ruled out)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Myles Turner - C @BKN ($6,800)

This is the ultimate matchup of teams that can’t guard centers, so both Jarrett Allen and Turner should be in line for big production on tonight’s slate. A knee injury has hampered Turner of late so there is some risk but the matchup and upside at this price tag is just too much to pass up considering Turner posted back-to-back 40 point nights just a short time ago.
