FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (2/9/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

A couple days post trade deadline and things seem to be settling down a bit. It's probably going to take a few more games to see exactly how minutes and rotations will shake out for some teams but last night helped significantly, particularly for the Wizards. Tonight's eight game slate should be a fun one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 2/9/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Make sure you don't set your lineups too early. Be sure to check all the NBA starting lineups and player statuses and availability prior to opening tip. Find me in the NBA Chat Room or @cjohnson707 on Twitter.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Trae Young- PG, vs CHA ($7,300)

Trae Young has had a tough last two games but tonight's matchup against the Hornets is an excellent opportunity for him to right the ship. Young should see nearly 33 minutes in a relatively good matchup; this game currently has the second highest game total at 229 and only has a three point spread. Young is more of a low-owned GPP option as his recent struggles do create some risk but a 50 FanDuel point upside could certainly help win some tournaments.

Malcolm Brogdon - SG, vs ORL ($6,300)

As always, if you can afford to pay for Harden, go for it. His price is finally at a level that there is no need to play every single slate but he still holds some cash game safety and tournament upside. If you decide not to play Harden, Brogdon looks to be an excellent mid-tier option for tonight. His minutes, usage, and fantasy production have been nearly identical in February which makes him an excellent option in cash formats. The only concern for tournaments is that his minutes have seen a slight decrease to about 28 minutes. This is largely due to the Bucks blowing teams out so, if the Magic can somehow keep it close tonight Brogdon should see about 32 minutes and would have tournament upside.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kenrich Williams - PF, at MEM ($5,500)

Last night was an important game for William's continued fantasy production potential with the addition of Anthony Davis back into the lineup; Williams proved he has the potential to produce with or without AD. The Pelicans have already released that they will be resting AD on one leg of every back-to-back for the rest of the season and tonight will be his rest night. Due to that, Williams is in line for yet another 35+ minutes outing. Williams is an option in cash and in tournaments. It'll be interesting to see how low-owned Williams will be due to his rapidly increasing price tag; anything sub-20% makes him an excellent tournament play.

Jabari Parker - SF, at CHI ($3,900)

Revenge narrative to the extreme tonight for Parker as he heads back Chicago just days after being traded. In his first game with the Wizards, Parker played very well and filled the stat sheet with 11 rebounds, nine assist, and seven points. He appears to have about 22-24 minutes locked in to the Wizards rotation which is plenty for him to crush value tonight. In addition, it would not be out of the question for Parker to catch fire tonight playing against his old team and see some extra minutes; hopefully his emotions don't get him into foul trouble. Parker is an excellent option is cash and tournaments.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Nikola Vucevic - C, at MIL ($9,400)

Normally, it is tough to narrow down center to just one player for this article but the center position tonight looks pretty ugly. There's no secret in saying that Vucevic has by far the highest floor and ceiling of any center tonight. Because of that, Vucevic is a near lock for all cash formats. There are a few interesting mid-tier center to take a look at for tournaments (Horford, Adams, Jordan) but Vucevic may still be the best bet.
