FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (12/17/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Austyn Varney highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 12/17/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Welcome to NBA Wednesday night. We have just seven games on the board tonight, but a ton of different options to pay up for. There is value to pay down for, but we have to get it perfect in tournaments. Devin Booker is currently questionable and a great Let's dive right in!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/17/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Spencer Dinwiddie - PG, BKN @ NO ($8,300)

The price on Dinwiddie has obviously risen, but there’s still room for him to have a big game. The Pelicans play extremely fast and they don’t cover guards well. It’s fair to expect 32-35 minutes out of Dinwiddie and close to 45 fantasy points in this match-up. He’s going to shoot the ball 15 times and is the top threat with Irvin still on the shelf. Dinwiddie won’t be popular tonight and he has huge upside.

Buddy Hield - SG, SAC @ CHA ($7,700)

Shooting guard is a very interesting position tonight. We have a ton of different options worth considering, but I love the match-up here for Buddy Hield. Devonta Graham will struggle with the height of Hield and he’s playing his best basketball of the season. You get a slight discount off the higher-priced SG’s and Hield has been over 30 fantasy points in 10 straight games. Hield is my favorite SG with price considered.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Anthony Davis - PF, LAL @ IND ($10,700)

If I’m paying up for one player on this slate, it’s Anthonny Davis. LeBron James is in play as well, but Davis has the better match-up here against this weak interior. Domantas Sabonis is a great rebounder and offensive player, but the Pacers rank 26th against power forwards for a reason. The Pacers play fast and Sabonis is the only player on the roster that can rebound. Even Myles Turner is below average rebounder for the C position.

Mikal Bridges - SF, PHO @ LAC ($4,500)

If Devin Booker is out once again, MIkal Bridges will slide in and be one of the best values on the slate, if not the best. While the Clippers have some strong defenders, they’re not great in the paint and Bridges is a guard that lives there. He’s been over 28 fantasy points in three of the last four games and will be there once again if Booker is out.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Deandre Ayton - C, LAC vs. PHO ($7,900)

Center isn’t very good tonight, and DeAndre Ayton should be conditioned as he was never injured. If Anything, he has fresh legs working against a bunch of guys who don’t. The best spot to attack the Clippers is down low and they’ll likely be without Devin Booker once again. Ayton is priced down on FanDuel and I’d be comfortable with him in both cash games and tournaments.
