FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (12/1/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Another Saturday and another solid slate of NBA games! Tonight features a six game main slate that locks at 7PM ET and an "All Day" slate that locks at 5PM ET and includes the Bucks vs Knicks game on top of the six main slate games.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/1/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Make sure you don't set your lineups too early and also be sure to check player statuses and availability prior to opening tip. Find me in the NBA Chat Room or @cjohnson707 on Twitter for any questions.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Zach LaVine - SG, at HOU ($8,700)

Zach LaVine continues to be in the top 3 of all starters this season in usage rate in company of players like Harden and Durant. Clearly, LaVine isn't the nearly super-human athlete those guys are but he also doesn't come at the same insanely high FanDuel price tag. High usage rates equals more opportunity for success and at $8,700, LaVine has the potential of smashing value if his shot takes form early in the game. The Rockets are huge favorites to win but LaVine hasn't seen any significant decrease in minutes due to blow-outs.

Darren Collison - PG, at WAS ($6,300)

As Victor Oladipo remains out, Collison should continue to see some increased minutes and usage. With Oladipo out, Collison hasn't been excellent but has shown some upside in the last three games, including a 40 FanDuel point game. As a result, his price did increase quite a bit but at $6,300 he still holds some value. Collison's shot has been off lately but his attempts have been steadily increasing- a break-out shooting game seems to be on the horizon. Collison is a multi-entry GPP play for tonight.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kawhi Leonard - SF, at CLE ($10,400)

Leonard and Durant sit high above all other small forwards tonight and there is a good chance that one of the them will be on the teams sitting on top of some big GPPs. With that being said, Leonard seems to be the better of the two options at $10,400, $1,300 cheaper than Durant. There is a good chance that most people will continue to try to ride-out the Durant hot streak but with Curry returning tonight, there's a good chance it comes to an end. Leonard has nearly the same ceiling as Durant and has a favorable matchup against the Cavs.

Markieff Morris - PF, vs BKN ($6,600)

As a whole, the Wizards have struggles on, and off, the court as a team but Morris has shown the potential of being a really productive player. In his last six games, Morris has only seen under 25 minutes and 20 FanDuel points once and has four 30+ point games. If Morris gets hot, his minutes can soar into the 40's- he is a gritty player that can spark the Wizards offense at any time. Morris comes with some risk but has a nearly 55 point ceiling making him a good tournament option.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Tristan Thompson - C, vs TOR ($6,100)

The center position doesn't offer very many excellent options at the top so dropping down to the mid-tier seems to be a logical move. The Cavs are on the 2nd half of a back-to-back but Thompson didn't play big minutes last night due to a blow-out. With that being said, Thompson should be in store for at least 30 minutes tonight. Thompson has been fairly consistent this season and has shown huge 55 point upside. At $6,100, if this game stays reasonable close, Thompson has the potential of reaching 6-8x value.
