FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (11/9/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Austyn Varney highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 11/9/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Welcome to NBA Saturday - We only have four games on the slate, but there is plenty to look at. We don't have much injury news, with Otto Porter being the only new inactive. While it is college football Saturday, there is a ton of money to be made on this short NBA slate. Let's dive right in!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/9/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Jrue Holiday - SG, NOP @ CHA ($8,300)

I love this spot for Jrue Holiday. There is a ton of attention elsewhere and Holiday has a tremendous match-up against a Charlotte team that plays fast and has struggled mightily vs guards. Holiday only played 30 minutes last night, so coaches obviously had the back-to-back in mind. He should be back over 34 minutes in this game and the Hornets don't have anyone to cover Holiday. He's been over 39 fantasy points in three of the last four games and his price is still affordable on FanDuel. I'm a fan of Holiday in all formats and I doubt he sees over 20% ownership on the small slate.

Chris Paul - PG, OKC vs. GS ($7,000)

Chris Paul has been a lot better recently, though we've definitely changed our standards. He's been over 30 fantasy points in four straight games and finally looks himself again. This match-up with the Warriors couldn't be better as it'll be D'Angelo Russell and Ky Bowman covering him. Neither are good defenders and Paul seems locked in for another 35-40 fantasy points here. The Warriors play extremely fast and I expect Paul to slice them up at home. He's super affordable and is in play in both cash games and tournaments. Don't let a slow start keep you off CP3.

Also Consider - James Harden, Luka Doncic, Coby White, Dennis Schroder

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Danilo Gallinari - SF, OKC vs. GS ($6,700)

Let's stick with the Thunder. This is a short slate and the Thunder have an extremely strong match-up with the Warriors. The Warriors are on a back-to-back and play at a top 10 PACE in the NBA. Gallinari looked great last game and went for 27 real-life points and 40 fantasy points. He's been the leading scorer for the Thunder and extremely consistent on a nightly basis. He's still under $7k on FanDuel and the position is ugly. Golden State won't slow down Gallo and 35 fantasy points is a lock.

Brandon Clarke - PF, MEM vs. DAL ($5,500)

Clarke is a per-minute monster and he gets a match-up with a Dallas interior that can be taken advantage of. Especially by someone who is a physical monster like Brandon Clarke. His minutes are limited, but they are consistent and he's putting up nearly two fantasy points per minute when on the floor. His price has slowly risen, but I still think Clarke has a ton of value in this match-up. Power forward isn't pretty and Clarke is consistent with plenty of upside.

Also Consider - Kristaps Porzingis, Eric Gordon, Miles Bridges

FanDuel DFS Centers

Dwight Powell - C, DAL @ MEM ($5,100)

Powell was terrible last night and he should bounce back against a Memphis interior that's been vulnerable all season long. He's barely over $5k and this is a guy who's price is going to rise fast as he sees 27+ minutes on a nightly basis. Center is beyond ugly tonight and I think Powell picks up 30 minutes tonight and crushes value. He showed us last night his ability to flop, but expect redemption tonight and ownership under 15% on a four-game slate.

Also Consider - Clint Capela, Jonas Valunciunas
