FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (11/8/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Austyn Varney highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 11/8/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Welcome to NBA Friday! We have a huge slate on our hands tonight and there's a ton of different ways to go in tournaments. There are a few games with totals over 220, along with a couple under 212. There are a lot of options at each position, but I'm going to focus on finding some value as well. Let's dive right in!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/8/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Give me a follow on Twitter @DFSVarney and say hello. Good luck RotoBallers!

FanDuel DFS Guards

Donovan Mitchell - SG, UTA vs. MIL ($8,300)

I don't know how much attention Donovan Mitchell to get on this slate, but I certainly love him. He deserves to be in the $9k's and nobody would argue with Mitchell being the highest-priced SG on the slate. The Bucks have played extremely fast this season and currently rank third in all of basketball with a 107 pace. Khris Middleton is a pretty good defender, but nowhere near good enough to slow down Donovan Mitchell in transition. The Bucks are also going to struggle with Gobert down low and Mitchell should have some fun with some PnR's in this one. His price is way too low on FanDuel and he should highly owned, but I suspect that won't be the case.

Aaron Holiday - PG, IND vs. DET ($4,100)

Jeremy Lamb has already been ruled out for this game, so Aaron Holiday is going to be a top value play once again. He played 30 minutes with Lamb out last game and put up 21 fantasy points. The Pistons play at an average pace, but they've struggled defensively to start the year. Holiday always gives himself the green light when on the floor and it's hard to see him not reaching value at this price. There are a ton of stars to pay up for on this slate, so the value is much needed. Malcolm Brogdon is another great play on this Pacers team, but his price has caught up to his production.

Others to Consider - Luka Doncic, Mike Conley, Raul Neto

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Tobias Harris - SF, PHI @ DEN ($6,500)

This FanDuel price on Tobias Harris is just silly. He has 40+ FDP in two of his last three games and his price just went down to $6,500. The Sixers face-off with the Nuggets, who don't have anyone that scares to cover Harris. It will be a lot of Will Barton and some Jerami Grant. Harris has been great this season and has been the secondary scoring option to Embiid. I love Harris in all formats against a Nuggets team that hasn't been great against small forwards. This game will be slow, but Harris should do more than enough at this price.

Taj Gibson - PF, NY @ DAL ($3,500)

I feel just as gross writing this as you do reading it. Mitchell Robinson was concussed in their last game and Taj Gibson ended up picking up 21 minutes. He put up 17 fantasy points and is still minimum-priced. Julius Randle and Bobby Ports pick up value with Robinson out, but we're digging for value here. I see Gibson putting up 20 fantasy points, which is a 5.7x score at his price. We all know Gibson doesn't mind shooting when given the opportunity and he can be active on the boards in short spurts. I wouldn't be surprised to see 25 or 25 out of Gibson, in which case he would be a top value option in all formats.

Others to Consider - Anthony Davis, Julius Randle, Mario Hezonja, Kent Bazemore

FanDuel DFS Centers

Dwight Powell - C, DAL vs. NY ($5,100)

Powell got up to 33 minutes against Orlando on Wednesday night and put up 27 fantasy points. If Powell is going to see 30+ minutes on a regular basis, he's going to be close to a $7k player. The name may be worn on you at this point, but this is a guy that was expected to take a while to develop and he looks really nice this season. The Knicks are weak down low with Mitchell Robinson out and Powell should have success both in the paint and from the outside. I think Bobby Portis is in play as well, but Dwight Powell is my favorite.

Others to Consider - Joel Embiid, Bobby Portis
