FanDuel DFS Guards

D'Angelo Russell - SG, GS @ LAL ($9,200)

You can play Harden or Lillard, but you can also get a few thousand dollars off and go with D’Angelo Russell. He’s played the Lakers a few times at this point and always has a little something extra for them. He’s now playing his best basketball ever with free reigns and will go into the Staples Center in what will be a high-scoring game. Russell is going to be firing early and often and could put up 60 fantasy points if he stays hot for all four quarters. He’s a safe bet for 40.

Patrick Beverley - PG, LAC @ HOU ($5,000)

Beverley is dependent on his minutes, but this as safe a bet as ever that he will be over 30. He has a career-long feud with Russell Westbrook and he’s going to be a pain in his is rear-end from the tip. He’s gotten up to 42 fantasy points and typically doesn’t dip under 20, but I love this match-up and have him projected closer to 30. The Rockets play extremely fast and Beverley will have plenty of open threes. He’ll also run into at least 10 combined rebounds, assists, and steals.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Jaylen Brown - SF, BOS vs. WAS ($7,200)

With Gordon Hayward out, there is value to be had with the Celtics in the starting lineup. Let’s start with Jaylen Brown. Brown has been over 40 fantasy points in two straight games and has his best match-up yet with the fast-paced Wizards. He thrives in the open floor and is a great play in all formats at SF.

Jayson Tatum - PF, BOS vs. WAS ($8,400)

The same goes for Tatum. He had the worst game of his career against the Mavericks, going 1-for-18 from the field. He’ll be looking for redemption and he has as many shots as he wants with Hayward injured. The Wizards play fast and don’t have anyone to cover Tatum. He’s going to cause Hachimura trouble on the outside and when they put Bertans on him, he’ll take him down low. Tatum is my favorite power forward on the slate.

Kent Bazemore - SF, POR vs. TOR ($4,400)

Rodney Hood was out again last night and Kent Bazemore drew the start. He’s played 32 and 33 minutes with Hood out and is one of the top value plays on the slate it Hood is out again. He’s not afraid to shoot and this Blazers offense gets him open. Toronto plays fast and the Blazers will be willing to give Bazemore 30+ minutes on a back to back. If Hood plays, my interest in Bazemore drops.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Clint Capela - C, HOU vs. LAC ($9,000)

For a big man, Capela is extremely streaky. He started off the season cold, but he’s been 45 fantasy points in three straight games and now gets a phenomenal match-up with the Clippers. They’re one of the best team defenses in the league, but have one glaring hole and it’s on the interior. Ivica Zubac and Montrezl Harrell both struggle defensively and Capela should continue his reign of terror. The price is fair on both sites.
