FanDuel DFS Guards

Stephen Curry - PG, GS vs. PHO ($9,200)

Curry showed us what he will be in most games last time out, turning 31 minutes into 54 fantasy points in New Orleans. The Warriors will host the Suns tonight and Curry is going to put up another 50+ fantasy points. He’s going to be relied on heavily by this Warriors offense and I have a strong suspicion that he will lead the league in scoring. He’s still affordable on both sites and Curry is my favorite point guard in all formats. The Suns don’t have anyone to stay with Curry on the outside and my full expectation is that he’ll be over 30 real-life points.

R.J. Barrett - SG, NYK @ ORL ($7,200)

With Elfrid Payton out and Dennis Smith Jr. not with the team, it’s going to be Nkilitina and Barrett running point. I’m going to keep this short. If the scenario I described above is how this plays out, play R.J. Barrett in EVERY LINEUP against the average Orlando Magic. Barrett isn’t only shooting a ton, but he’s rebounding and playing huge minutes. He looks extremely comfortable on the floor and is making his early case for rookie of the year. The Magic are an underwhelming defensive team and Barrett shouldn’t have any issue putting up another 40+ fantasy points if the ball is in his hands all game.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo - SF, MIL @ BOS ($11,600)

The Celtics have a big problem this season and it’s their inability to stop Giannis Antetokounmpo. We saw Giannis eat the Celtics for breakfast just a few months ago when the Bucks obliterated the Celtics in the playoffs. We’re going to see double teams and different guys threw his way. Giannis is going to play 35 minutes and should be over 60 fantasy points with ease. The Celtics are fine defensively, but Giannis is the best in the business and they don’t have anybody to stop him.

Rui Hachimura - PF, WAS @ HOU ($5,900)

Hachimura has been awesome so far, averaging 30 fantasy points per game through three. For a rookie, it’s rare to see such comfort on the floor. He’s been well over 30 FP in each of his last two games, which happened to be in pretty tough match-ups with the Spurs and Thunder. He now gets to face off with the Houston Rockets, who run like crazy and have an undersized P.J. Tucker at the four. Hachimura is still way too cheap and it’s a matter of time until he drops a 40 burger.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Joel Embiid - C, PHI vs. MIN ($11,200)

I don’t think you can go wrong with this match-up, as KAT and Embiid are both capable of putting up 80 fantasy points against one another. Embiid is a much better defender than KAT, so I’m siding with Embiid in Philadelphia. He has bullied KAT around in the past and put up a 72-point performance a year ago. These two obviously don’t play much as they are in different conferences, but this will be a fun game to watch as two of the top three centers in basketball face-off.
