FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (10/19/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Justin Bales highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 10/19/18, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

After a smaller Thursday slate where we saw LeBron James make his Lakers debut, we're back to a sizeable Friday slate! There are a plethora of games to choose from tonight, making lineup construction a bit easier.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 10/19/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks and our Premium DFS Cheat Sheet.

Don't forget to check out our brand new NBA DFS Matchup Ratings tool with daily player projections. As always, don't set your lineups to early and check player statuses prior to opening tip. You can find me on Twitter, @BalesSJustin.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Trae Young - PG, at MEM ($6,100)

Young struggled a bit in his first game, but he played 33 minutes. He also flashed versatility, recording 14 points with six rebounds, and five assists. He gets a good matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies, who feature one of the worst rosters in the NBA. Young is expected to see the highest usage rating on the Hawks team, and he has tremendous upside with his scoring potential.

Victor Oladipo - SG, at MIL ($8,400)

Oladipo only played 25 minutes in his first game, as the Indiana Pacers quickly blew out the Memphis Grizzlies. He'll be needed for big minutes in this game, as the Milwaukee Bucks feature a significantly better team. Oladipo was one of the best shooting guards in the NBA last season, and he comes with triple-double potential. Oladipo should be locked into 30+ minutes tonight, making him an elite option in all leagues.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Joe Ingles - SF, vs GS ($6,300)

Ingles picked up his first game where he left off last season. He played 35 minutes in his first game, recording 22 points with one rebound, six assists, and four steals. He gets an elite matchup against the Golden State Warriors, and Ingles' scoring will be needed if Utah wants to keep this game close. He's a safe option at his current price tag, who also comes with tremendous upside.

Kevin Love - PF, at MIN ($8,000)

It was reported that Love wasn't going to play extended stretches in the Cavs first game, but he ended up playing 34 minutes. He ended the game with 21 points, seven rebounds, and two assists, which was a bit of a letdown. With LeBron James now in Los Angeles, Love will be the focal point of the offense and should get back to his nightly double-double. Minnesota has struggled at times against big men, and Love is a high upside option for a reasonable price tag.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Enes Kanter - C, at BKN ($7,500)

Kanter is a player that doesn't need big minutes to post massive double-doubles. He played only 27 minutes in his first game, totaling 16 points with 11 rebounds, three assists, one block, and one steal. He gets an elite matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, who have struggled against centers this season (and preseason). Kanter comes with 20/20 potential on this slate, and he makes one of the highest upside options tonight.
