FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/7/20): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Welcome to NBA Tuesday night. We have six games on the board tonight, but a ton of different options to pay up for. There is value to pay down for, but we have to get it perfect in tournaments if we wan to take down some serious cash.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/7/20. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Give me a follow on Twitter @DFSVarney and say hello. Good luck RotoBallers, let's dive right in!

FanDuel DFS Guards

Kyle Lowry - PG, TOR vs. POR ($8,400)

With Fred Van Vleet already ruled out for this game, the Raptors will rely on Kyle Lowry here more than they already do with his near-30% usage rate. The match-up with Portland is a great one as the world knows Damian Lillard isn’t a match-up to be scared of. Lowry is locked into 35 minutes here and he should be well over a FP per minute when on the floor. He’s the top point per dollar play at point guard and Damian Lillard is right up there as well if McCollum sits.

Andrew Wiggins - SG, MIN @ MEM ($6,900)

If we consider Karl-Anthony Towns out, Andrew Wiggins will have a great shot to redeem himself after last game. He’s had another 48 hours to recover from the illness and now gets a match-up with a fast-paced Memphis Grizzlies team that doesn’t offer any rim protection. Wiggins doesn’t have anyone to compete with for shots with KAT out and he can drop 30+ with ease if he can heat up from the field. Memphis is a great match-up and the price on FanDuel gives Wiggins plenty of room for upside.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Anthony Davis - PF, LAL vs. NY ($11,600)

Davis has now been over 70 fantasy points in back-to-back games and we’ve been all over him in each of these contests. He now draws another friendly match-up with a New York Knicks team that has no business slowing down AD. Whether it’s Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, Bobby Portis, or Taj Gibson, Davis has a clear advantage over each and will dominate when on the floor. He’s on an unstoppable roll right now and the Knicks are just another porous defense in the way of a huge performance.

OG Anunoby - SF, TOR vs. POR ($4,800)

With Fred Van Vleet our, I expect OG Anunoby to see big minutes against the Blazers. His minutes have been more up and down than anyone on the roster, but he should certainly see 30+ after Van Vleet has been ruled out and Powell is already out. The Blazers tend to play smaller when given the chance and Anunoby will match-up well. He does a great job at stuffing the stat sheet and it’s why his upside is so high. The price is fair and I like OG in all formats.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Jonas Valunciunas - C, MEM vs. MIN ($6,700)

Jonas Valunciunas seems to go on these three or four game runs where he puts up 45+ fantasy points and it seems like we may be catching him before that takes off. He was the focal point of the offense against the Suns and finished with 52 fantasy points. The Timberwolves without KAT are a phenomenal match-up and you can expect Val to be locked in over 30 fantasy points with a very real upside for 50 if he gets hot early and the Grizzlies feed him.
