FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/24/20): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Karl-Anthony Towns - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

Austyn Varney highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 1/24/20, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Welcome to NBA Friday night. We have 10 games on the board tonight with a ton of different options to pay up for. We're looking at Jimmy Butler being questionable and a ton of other injuries to pay attention to. There is value to pay down for, but we have to get it perfect in tournaments if we wan to take down some serious cash.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/24/20. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Give me a follow on Twitter @DFSVarney and say hello. Good luck RotoBallers, let's dive right in!

FanDuel DFS Guards

James Harden - SG, HOU @ MIN ($10,800)

In an unforeseen turn of events, Russell Westbrook has been over 60 fantasy points in four straight games. It’s been seven games in a row for Harden where’s he’s failed to reach 70 and he’ll look to turn that around against a Timberwolves team that plays fast and loose. In a game earlier this season, Harden posted 49/6/6 on his way to 74 fantasy points. I like Harden to bounce back here and his price is too low on FanDuel.

Aaron Holiday - SG, IND @ GS ($3,800)

Brogdon has already been ruled out for this game, and Aaron Holiday is the man to turn to. Holiday was routinely over 30 minutes when Brogdon was last out and he was an extremely effective player when on the floor. Holiday is exceptional when running the floor and the match-up with Golden State is an elite one. Holiday is fairly priced on FanDuel and I’m a big fan.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Pascal Siakam - PF, TOR @ NY ($7,300)

We finally have Pascal Siakam back and he got up to 34 minutes last game. Assuming he’s good to go for 30+ minutes a game, Siakam is far too cheap on FanDuel. He was averaging nearly 48 fantasy points per game before injury and he will be back there before long. Siakam is an excellent play in all formats and I think he gets over 45 fantasy points here.

Aaron Gordon - PF, ORL vs. BOS ($5,600)

Power forward is certainly the weakest position on this slate and Aaron Gordon is my favorite point-per-dollar play. Boston not only ranks 28th against the position, but their fast-paced style fits Aaron Gordon perfectly. He’s averaged over 33 minutes a game over the last seven and is one of the safest plays on the slate. Gordon can be played in all formats.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Karl-Anthony Towns - C, MIN vs. HOU ($9,800)

I love pairing James Harden and Karl-Anthony Towns in tournaments. This game is my favorite of the bunch and KAT put up 27/14 in the same match-up earlier this season. Calling Capela is a great rebounder and scorer, but he’s far from equipped to handle KAT on the perimeter or in the paint. Towns is my favorite center on the board and there is plenty of value to fit him.
