FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/19/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Corey Johnson highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 1/19/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Tonight features another relatively medium-sized slate with eight games. The biggest decision of this slate will be whether or not to stomach paying $14,300 for Harden. For the sake of this article, I'm going to leave him out but if you're able to build a lineup you like with Harden in it, roll with it!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/19/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Make sure you don't set your lineups too early and also be sure to check player statuses and availability prior to opening tip. Find me in the NBA Chat Room or @cjohnson707 on Twitter.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Luka Doncic - SG, at IND ($8,900)

Doncic has been playing excellent over the last couple of weeks and although his price has increased a good amount and he has a tough matchup against the Pacers, he is a great tournament option for tonight as he should be low-owned. Doncic relies heavily on field goals made to accumulate fantasy points and recently his scoring/shooting numbers have been excellent. Luka is the locked-in starter and should see 30+ minutes with upwards of 20 shot attempts.

Austin Rivers - SG, vs LAL ($5,300)

Rivers is certainly not the most exciting of all plays but he does offer some really good value and safety. The Rockets are missing some players and as a result, Rivers should continue to see 35+. Of course, these 35+ minutes are with Harden who absorbs most of the usage but at $5,300, hitting value shouldn't be too difficult. Rivers has shown the ability to score 20+ real points in a game and Harden does average about nine assist a game; if Rivers can find his shot early, Harden may look his way a little more.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Harrison Barnes - SF, at IND ($5,800)

The Mavs are down some bodies due to injury and potential trades which leaves Barnes primed to continue to see some big minutes. Barnes isn't afraid of attempting the three-point shot and has shown the ability to drain seven from behind the arch in a game. Barnes has been struggling inside of the arch but has not shied away from attempting two-pointers; a little bit of positive regression could result in a big game from Barnes. Pairing Barnes with Doncic is a solid roster construction in a multi-entry GPP type build in hopes that this game stays close and is high scoring.

Blake Griffin - PF, vs SAC ($9,700)

After a huge game last night, Griffin's FanDuel price has actually dropped $100, leaving him at price that allows for some great upside. Griffin should see at least 35 minutes in a relative high-paced matchup against the Kings. Blake has the ability to fill a stat sheet and 30+ point triple-doubles are always possible. In addition, there is uncertainty on whether or not Drummond will play tonight; if Drummond does not play, Griffin will certainly see some increased usage.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Nikola Vucevic - C, vs MIL ($9,300)

Vucevic has been playing well the last week and will look to continue his steady ways against the heavily favored Bucks. Of all the center plays on the board, Vucevic is likely the safest play and he does offer some GPP upside. Vucevic has a floor of about 30 FanDuel points and a ceiling that nears 75 FanDuel points. Vucevic is an excellent option in cash games and can be used in tournaments. In addition, there is a chance that he goes somewhat under-owned in tournaments if a high percentage of people play Harden.
