FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/18/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Similarly to this entire week, we have another medium slate. There are seven games tonight, which has been the general case throughout this week. It's a bit odd, but it makes DFS fun on a nightly basis rather than only a few solid slates each week.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/18/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Make sure you don't set your lineups too early and also be sure to check player statuses and availability prior to opening tip. Find me in the NBA Chat Room or @BalesSJustin on Twitter.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Jevon Carter - PG, at BOS ($3,800)

Carter's minutes aren't guaranteed, but the Memphis Grizzlies are dealing with multiple injuries, and Carter found success in their last game. Overall, he scored eight points with two rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and two steals (27.9 fantasy points) in 28 minutes. Carter is a versatile player, and he has multiple ways to find success when on the court. He could see minutes in the mid-20s again tonight, and he makes a great punt option, as his price tag can be dropped on FanDuel.

Lou Williams - SG, vs GS ($6,800)

Williams has found plenty of success in limited minutes recently. Over the last 10 days, he's averaging 21.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 5.8 assists in only 27.0 minutes per game. He gets a matchup against the Golden State Warriors, who have performed well against shooting guards this season. With that being said, this game will be fast paced and high scoring, which is the type of game that Williams thrives in. He isn't safe enough to be considered in cash, but he makes a great tournament option.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Omri Casspi - SF, at BOS ($4,300)

Casspi is another player for the Memphis Grizzlies who will be locked into bigger minutes because of injuries. He has played 35 and 24 minutes in his last two games, scoring 26.2 and 22.6 fantasy points in those games. He has performed well on a per minute basis this season, averaging 0.9 fantasy points per minute through 32 games. Casspi is another cheap option, who can be considered in all leagues on this slate.

Anthony Davis - PF, at POR ($13,800)

As mentioned above, there is a plethora of value on this slate. Davis isn't going to come cheap, but he's averaging 36.0 points, 14.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 2.4 blocks, and 1.6 steals in 37.4 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Davis has also scored 80+ fantasy points in three of his last seven games. Furthermore, Davis has scored 72.1, 82.2, and 81.1 fantasy points in three of his last four games. The matchup against the Portland Blazers is far from ideal, but he can still be considered in all leagues.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Rudy Gobert - C, vs CLE ($10,500)

Gobert has been playing at an elite level over his last three games, averaging 18.7 points, 21.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.7 blocks (57.9 fantasy points) in 36.0 minutes per game. He has recorded 20+ rebounds in each of his last two games, and he gets an elite matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who will be without three of their best rebounders in Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, and Larry Nance Jr. Gobert is no longer a cheap option, but he makes a lot of sense on this slate.
